we are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer.
In this job you will need to design, lead, develop, complex and versatile software solutions. This includes technical leadership and working closely with other stakeholders in the organization such as system engineers. You will need follow through from concept to product along with hands on hands-on coding and supporting complex integrations of the various parts of the system. Responsibilities:
Lead and implement complex software features in an embedded Linux environment
Develop, debug, and maintain kernel-level .
Own the software integration of multiple system components
Collaborate with system, hardware, and other teams
Take responsibility from design through delivery, including hands-on coding
Write technical documentation and design specifications
Deep knowledge with HW architectures, OS implementation details and HW-SW partitioning.

The Embedded control teams develop SW products that create the basic building blocks of the SolarEdge system and deal with various fields - power conversion algorithmic, communication algorithmic, optimizations, RT problems on different platforms - DSPs, Company’s ASIC and digital controlled power converters for photo-voltaic power systems. We are looking for a highly skilled SW developer Expert with substantial Object-Oriented experience in a multi-disciplinary environment to join our R&D group in Israel (Rehovot).
You will be a part of a talented software team that is currently developing the next generation of 3D printers, using cutting-edge technology and constantly looking for new ideas and improvements.
What you will be doing:
Lead development tasks through all stages - gathering requirements, designing, implementing (mostly using C++ and C#)
and following integration on the 3D printers themselves.
Work closely with System and HW engineers, SW developers, QA and many more.
Perform design and code reviews
