In this role, you will:
Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure
Collaborate with product leaders, system engineers, software architects, developers and devops engineers to implement solutions and support improvements
Build microservices using technologies and platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS native
Apply principles and methodologies like Agile SCRUM, CI, software and product security, scalability, documentation Practices, refactoring, and testing techniques
Write code and unit-tests that meet quality standards and deliver desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
Desired Skills:
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions on AWS platform, including the development of AWS CDK or CloudFormation templates (CFT) for infrastructure provisioning and management
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python or Node.js development
Experience in developing serverless solutions on AWS
Working experience in developing scalable microservices with Kubernetes
Experience in building RESTful web APIs with at least one of the following frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django, Spring)
Working experience with relational and non-relational databases
Experience operating in a highly secure environment that conforms to various regulatory requirements and industry best practices
High coding and unit-testing skills
Working experience with git source control systems
Strong understanding of Agile Scrum development methodology and principles. Aware of and able to apply continuous integration
