A growing defense-tech startup is looking for a hands-on Electro-Optic Integration Engineer to join its core technical team.
This is a highly practical role at the intersection of Electro-Optics, system Integration and NPI, with an approximately 50/50 split between R D-to-Production transfer and hands-on integration testing.
You will work closely with the R D and integration teams, helping turn advanced electro-optical technology into robust, production-ready systems.
What youll do
Lead and support NPI / R D-to-Production transfer of electro-optical systems.
Build and develop lab setups, TEST environments and work methodologies.
Perform hands-on system integration, calibration and troubleshooting.
Support integration teams during experiments and field tests, providing optical and physical-level analysis.
Define practical testing and measurement methods and help establish repeatable
Requirements: What were looking for:
BSc in Electro-Optical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with an Electro-Optics specialization.
3+ years of hands-on experience with electro-optical systems in R D, integration, testing or a similar environment.
Strong practical understanding of optical systems, imaging and electro-optical instrumentation.
Experience building experimental setups and developing testing methodologies.
Hands-on approach with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with fiber optics - a significant advantage.
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
A genuine interest in NPI and the transition from development to production, and motivation to grow professionally through this phase.
This position is open to all candidates.
