The Account Executive is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth across a defined portfolio of strategic accounts, with full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle and customer engagement model.
This role combines strategic account management, complex deal execution, and value-based selling, with a strong focus on expanding SAPs footprint and ensuring long-term customer success and value realization.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Ownership & Growth
Own and deliver against an individual sales quota across assigned accounts
Build, manage, and advance a strong sales pipeline with high forecast accuracy
Drive revenue growth through upsell, cross-sell, and new solution adoption
Strategic Account Leadership
Develop and execute account strategies aligned with customer business priorities
Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive stakeholders (CxO level)
Position SAP as a strategic partner in customers digital transformation journey
Complex Deal Execution
Identify, qualify, and close complex, high-value opportunities
Lead end-to-end deal cycles, including commercial structuring and negotiations
Navigate multi-stakeholder environments across business and IT organizations
Value-Based Selling & Solution Positioning
Align SAP solutions to customer business outcomes and strategic goals
Articulate compelling value propositions, including ROI and business impact
Collaborate with presales and partners to shape optimal solution design
Orchestration & Collaboration
Orchestrate cross-functional teams (presales, services, partners, ecosystem)
Ensure alignment across internal stakeholders to drive successful deal execution
Support post-sale adoption and long-term value realization
Requirements: 3+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or complex solution selling
Proven track record of managing and closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals
Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills (CxO level)
Advanced negotiation skills and strong commercial acumen
Solid understanding of business and financial concepts (ROI, TCO, business case)
Experience working in matrix organizations and cross-functional environments
Familiarity with SAP portfolio and cloud transformation - an advantage
Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (Masters - advantage)
