AI Quality Strategy
Define and lead all AI-augmented quality initiatives across the organization
Deploy LLM-powered test generation, triage, and root-cause analysis tooling
Build frameworks for validating AI/ML model outputs and non-deterministic behaviors
Evaluate and integrate emerging AI quality toolchains (GitHub Copilot, Claude, agents)
Champion responsible AI testing practices, coverage standards, and governance models
Automation Engineering
Own the full automation strategy across UI, API, and integration layers
Architect scalable, maintainable test frameworks
Drive shift-left testing embedded in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Establish coverage KPIs, flakiness SLAs, and automation ROI metrics
Lead adoption of self-healing and AI-assisted test maintenance
Performance Engineering
Lead performance and load testing strategy at enterprise scale
Define SLOs/SLAs and partner with SRE on reliability thresholds
Design continuous performance validation integrated into delivery pipelines
Drive root-cause analysis for regressions, bottlenecks, and latency spikes
Oversee toolchain including k6, JMeter, Gatling, and APM integrations
People & Org Leadership
Lead and grow teams of automation engineers, performance engineers, and architects
Set technical direction, OKRs, and career ladders for the quality engineering org
Hire senior ICs and architect-level talent; build succession depth
Foster a culture of ownership, engineering craft, and continuous learning
Partner cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and R&D leadership.

Responsibilities:

- Own the quality and test automation strategy across QM's high-level software, including our SDKs, APIs, user-facing tools, and the services around them.

- Lead a team of QA and automation engineers - setting technical direction, mentoring, and growing the team's capabilities while staying hands-on.

- Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks and the test suites that run within our CI flows, validating functionality, performance, and stability.

- Define test plans, coverage goals, and quality gates in close partnership with R&D, architecture, and product teams.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on QA Lead to establish and lead the Quality Assurance function for an advanced Industrial AI platform that combines Industrial Connectivity, Edge Computing, Cloud Technologies, and AI-driven solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to build the QA function from the ground up while taking ownership of quality across a complex and evolving software platform.

The role combines hands-on testing, test automation, quality strategy, process definition, and close collaboration with Software Engineering, AI, and DevOps teams.

Perform hands-on manual and automated testing across software releases.
Validate functionality across Cloud, Edge, and AI-enabled system components.

As a QA Automation Tech Lead, you will drive automation strategy and testing frameworks. Youll take end-to-end ownership of the automation architecture across all testing layers (API, UI, and E2E), from design to CI/CD integration. Youll collaborate closely with R&D and Product, serving as the technical leader championing quality across the team.

Responsibilities

Drive the automation strategy and framework roadmap, and be responsible for the framework architecture and technical standards (design patterns, structure, reusable infrastructure)
Define the automation approach across testing layers: API, service-level, UI, and end-to-end, including mocking and sandbox strategies for third-party payment providers
Own automation quality itself: test stability, flakiness reduction, execution time, and suite reliability
Define and report quality metrics: coverage, pass rate, flakiness, and execution trends
Integrate and evolve automation in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for fast, reliable feedback on every change
Represent testability in design and architecture reviews and surface risks early (shift-left)
Partner with developers, product, and manual QA to decide what gets automated, at which layer, and what does not
Evaluate and introduce new tools and approaches, including AI-assisted testing workflows

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading quality activities across groups' solution-level features, ensuring the highest standards of quality are met. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of driving quality initiatives and fostering a quality-focused mindset within the organization.
Your Impact
Oversee and manage quality activities for cross-group solution-level features, ensuring alignment with overall quality goals.
Define E2E scenarios for cross group projects and push for testable designs. Ensure E2E scenarios are covered by manual and automation by collaborating with the correct personas in the groups and the central QA.
Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters concerning the unit or the cross-group feature.
Work closely with the different personas in the groups to promote quality mindset, best practices, tools and product knowledge to improve the overall quality.
Identify gaps that require a centralized solution and work with the centralized QA, PMO org and other solution quality leads to promote a holistic solution, enablement or processes.
