Responsibilities:

* Lead the technical direction of the automation group: define best practices, set coding standards, and guide architectural decisions for testing methodologies and new feature implementations
* Remain hands-on: actively write, review, and contribute to test code alongside the team, leading by example rather than by title
* Design detailed test plans for new features, and review and approve implementation designs proposed by team members for how those features will be tested
* Engage with R&D and Product from the earliest stages of feature development, providing input on testability, edge cases, and quality requirements before implementation begins
* Design and own test strategies for large, cross-cutting features involving multiple services and components working together
* Mentor and grow team members, conducting code reviews and elevating the team's engineering quality
* Work closely with development, product, and architecture teams to influence design decisions from a quality and testability standpoint
* Drive root cause investigations of complex, hard-to-reproduce issues - race conditions, timing-sensitive failures, and problems that only surface at scale
* Own release sign-off decisions - you'll have the authority to say "not good enough"
* Identify gaps in test coverage across service boundaries and drive initiatives to close them

Your key responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership & Strategy
Manage, coach, and perform a performance review of a 10-person NOC team across two geographies (IL/UK)
Own hiring, onboarding, and people decisions for the team
Report directly to the CIO on NOC performance, risk posture, and capability gaps
Own and evolve the NOCs strategic framework (mission, pillars, goals, KPIs) and translate it into a working roadmap
Drive automation and tooling adoption within budget and staffing constraints, identify and quantify operational needs, and translate them into clear requirements for automation and tooling
Incident, Process & Governance
Own end-to-end P0/P1 incident response across 24/7 coverage
Enforce mandatory incident management protocol groups
Design and own NOC operating procedures: monitoring tooling, escalation paths, severity classification, shift handover standards, and on-call structures
Run monthly production retrospectives and distribute findings to Infrastructure and R&D leadership

As a Data Engineer , you will own the data lifecycle for Physical AI and humanoid robotics: the pipelines and systems that move data from the moment it is captured to the moment it trains a model.
You will design and scale the pipelines that convert large volumes of simulation and real-robot recordings into state-of-the-art datasets - handling extraction, transformation, feature schemas, statistics, and video at scale. You will build the curation systems that generate and select high-quality training data, and the release tooling that produces versioned datasets.
You will work with various reinforcement learning and computer vision algorithms which generate realistic simulation data for humanoid robotics tasks.

What You'll Do;

Build and lead a highly skilled AI software & algorithms engineering team, establishing engineering standards, development processes, and technical direction
