You will enhance the simulator performance and quality and scale it to support massive loads, additional clients and unique use cases. What you'll be doing:

Design and develop simulation capabilities, integrating internal and external libraries and maintaining a clean, scalable architecture for a complex SW project.

Collaborate with DevOps engineers to develop our CI/CD infrastructure for the networking simulation service, ensuring efficient deployment and smooth integration processes.

This role sits at the intersection of AI and high-performance systems engineering, focused on solving real-world problems under strict constraints. You will work on systems where performance and reliability are critical and where improvements have a direct, measurable impact on real-world safety.

This is a senior, systems-focused role with end-to-end ownership over performance and reliability of production computer vision pipelines. You will define optimization strategies, identify bottlenecks across the system, and drive improvements under real-world constraints.

What youll do
Build and optimize real-time computer vision pipelines running on edge systems processing live maritime video streams (e.g, NVIDIA Jetson, Triton Inference Server).
Take models from research and turn them into production-ready, reliable components deployed on vessels.
Profile and improve end-to-end system performance across: multi-camera video ingestion; preprocessing; inference; postprocessing
Identify and resolve bottlenecks across CPU, GPU, memory, and pipeline coordination.
Make and justify tradeoffs between latency, accuracy, stability, and resource utilization.
Design and implement robust data and inference pipelines (video -> model -> actionable output for crew).
Develop benchmarking and evaluation workflows to measure performance end-to-end and support release gating.
Build and improve observability tools, including logging, monitoring, and debugging workflows for production systems.
Define and maintain clear interfaces between research code and production systems.
Work closely with research and backend teams to integrate new models into production systems.
Continuously improve system efficiency and reliability under hardware and runtime constraints.

The DOCA SDK enables developers to rapidly create applications and services on top of our data processing units (DPUs), leveraging industry-standard APIs. With DOCA, developers can deliver breakthrough networking, security, and storage performance by harnessing the power of our DPUs.

What you will be doing:
As a Senior Software Engineer in the DOCA verification team, you will play a key role in designing and developing the verification infrastructure for the DOCA SDK. This infrastructure is a complex system that executes thousands of tests every night across multiple hardware platforms and configurations. It includes mechanisms for error handling and fault recovery, while test results are stored, analyzed using advanced tools, and presented through live dashboards and reports. Your expertise in building robust and efficient verification systems will be critical to ensuring the reliability and quality of our software.

A sensor runs on every customer machine, takes inventory of the software and AI tools in use, sends that back over an encrypted channel, and enforces policy locally. It runs as a service on Windows and a daemon on macOS, with the access and the responsibility that come with running as SYSTEM and root. This role owns the hard parts of it.

What you'll work on

The sensor itself: software inventory, secure telemetry, and on-device policy enforcement, on both Windows and macOS.

Real OS work. On macOS that means Launch Services, Spotlight, IOKit, the Security framework, and Open Directory. On Windows it means services, ETW, WMI, the registry, and WinSock.

The policy enforcement point: evaluating rules over events (including AI-tool use and browser extensions) against a policy engine, and talking to the backend that makes the decisions.

Encrypted logging and telemetry, crash handling and symbolication, and the recovery path that keeps the agent running and hard to tamper with.

Signed installers and macOS configuration profiles.

Tech you'll work with

The work is low-level systems development in Rust, close to the operating system across Windows, macOS, and Linux - memory, processes, files, and the OS internals that expose them. Alongside that, you'll lean hard on agentic coding tools; deep fluency with at least one is central to how we work, not a bonus. Expect to range across the stack - OS internals, AI tooling internals, CI, and a fair amount of reverse engineering - and to learn the parts you don't know yet.
