Objectives of this role BlueGreen Water Technologies is seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This seasoned strategist will not only understand current accounting practices and trends but also will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's long-term financial strategy, supporting global growth, leading fundraising initiatives, managing investor relations, and ensuring the company is financially positioned for its next stage of expansion. Responsibilities:
Executive & Strategic Leadership
* Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors.
* Develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy aligned with business objectives and global growth plans. Budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
* Translate business strategy into financial plans, investment priorities, and measurable business outcomes.
* Support the company's global growth strategy and international expansion initiatives.
* Partner with business leaders to define financial priorities and support strategic decision-making.
* Develop executive KPIs, financial dashboards, and performance metrics to drive business performance. Provide the CEO ongoing on time financial report insights, strategic analyses, and recommendations to support business decisions. Capital Raising, Corporate Finance & Investor Relations
* Lead all fundraising activities, including equity financing, SAFE agreements, venture debt, project financing, short-term financing, and IPO readiness.
* Manage funding rounds from preparation through closing.
* Lead financial modeling, valuation analyses, cap table management, investment scenarios, and due diligence processes.
* Prepare and maintain investor materials, including financial statements, presentations, and business cases.
* Lead and maintain the company's Virtual Data Room (VDR) for fundraising and due diligence activities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, financial institutions, venture capital funds, and strategic partners.
* Build and lead the company's Investor Relations (IR) function. Finance Leadership & Organizational Excellence
* Lead and oversee the company's global Finance organization, including Accounting, Controllership, FP&A, Budgeting, Costing, Treasury, Taxation, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting.
* Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable financial processes, policies, governance, and internal controls.
* Maintain a hands-on leadership approach, with the ability to dive into details, understand business processes, and build strong financial infrastructure from the ground up.
