As a part of the Storage AI/ML Solutions team, you will be dedicated to exploring, architecting and developing next-generation storage solutions for the AI/ML ecosystem. Responsibilities
Design and implement high-complexity features, deliver production-ready code for storage solutions that address the specific demands of AI/ML workloads.
Architect scalable and performant storage solutions, apply data-driven decisions to optimize system efficiency and reliability.
Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks and intricate system issues, develop innovative, practical solutions to technical issues that arise at the intersection of storage and ML.
Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to translate customer requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the incubations output aligns with broader Cloud goals.

As a Sr. Software Engineer in our NoSQL and in-memory computing platform team, you will lead the software development of large-scale, distributed in-memory storage platform with sub-millisecond latency. You will leverage open source technologies like Valkey, Memcached, and our proprietary technologies. This includes data plane extremely fast and high throughput development, low level optimizations, asynchronous messaging, event-based technologies, real-time failure detection system, horizontal and vertical scaling, auto-remediation, high availability, fault tolerance, storage technologies, snapshoting, and disaster recovery.

In this role, you will have oversight of all things technical, own significant portions of the product, and serve as a mentor for other engineers in their areas of work. As the key member of the engineering team, you will have a significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define the product features, drive system architecture, and spearhead best practices. You will work to enable a quality product and set the groundwork for success in the next phase of the product and beyond. As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be tasked with owning the architecture of our company's self-hosted (on-prem) Endpoint Protection platform across multiple teams - a distributed, mission-critical security system deployed inside customer-controlled enterprise, government, and regulated environments. You will set the standard for how the platform achieves high availability, scalability, and reliability on infrastructure we don't operate ourselves, while influencing the engineering roadmap for the product line. In this role, you will act as a recognized subject-matter expert who reviews and elevates the work of other senior engineers and drives complex, cross-team designs to completion.
What Will You Do?
Primary responsibilities include:
Own and evolve the architecture of the self-hosted platform across multiple teams - backend services, data pipelines, control logic, and the deployment topology shipped to customers (containerized microservices on bare metal, delivered as an appliance/OVA) - and implement improvements to existing architecture.
Set the standard for high availability and resilience in customer-controlled deployments: clustering, replication, failover, consensus/leader election, and graceful degradation across single-node and multi-node topologies, and drive infrastructure cost analysis and optimization.
Define scalability and capacity-planning strategies that hold across a wide range of customer scale and hardware, and establish frameworks for performance, observability, and operational excellence in constrained and air-gapped environments.
Lead the translation of SaaS/cloud-native capabilities into on-prem architecture, refine vaguely specified complex requirements into robust, future-proof end-to-end designs, and define coding patterns and standards that span multiple teams.

We are hiring for a Principal/ Senior Backend Engineer to join our fast-paced KSPM (Kubernetes Security Posture Management) team in Cortex Cloud, located in our TLV office. Cortex Cloud is our company' next-generation cloud security solution.
In this role, you'll be key in developing and scaling the core parts of our KSPM solution. Our team's goal is to help Cortex Cloud customers understand and fix security issues in their Kubernetes workloads across all major cloud providers.
