End-to-end responsibility for new detection capabilities, from researching Linux/Containers security landscapes to designing detection strategies and algorithms.
Designing and delivering innovative security solutions at scale.
Working on diverse technical challenges, ranging from low-level Kernel hooks to complex detection engines and pure system engineering.
Enhancing the security of various Linux and cloud workload platforms protected by our product.
Supporting a global impact, serving thousands of users, including enterprise, public sector clients, and some of the largest companies worldwide
Software Development (70-80% of time)
Conduct low level research and Design of new features

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be tasked with owning the architecture of our company's self-hosted (on-prem) Endpoint Protection platform across multiple teams - a distributed, mission-critical security system deployed inside customer-controlled enterprise, government, and regulated environments. You will set the standard for how the platform achieves high availability, scalability, and reliability on infrastructure we don't operate ourselves, while influencing the engineering roadmap for the product line. In this role, you will act as a recognized subject-matter expert who reviews and elevates the work of other senior engineers and drives complex, cross-team designs to completion.
What Will You Do?
Primary responsibilities include:
Own and evolve the architecture of the self-hosted platform across multiple teams - backend services, data pipelines, control logic, and the deployment topology shipped to customers (containerized microservices on bare metal, delivered as an appliance/OVA) - and implement improvements to existing architecture.
Set the standard for high availability and resilience in customer-controlled deployments: clustering, replication, failover, consensus/leader election, and graceful degradation across single-node and multi-node topologies, and drive infrastructure cost analysis and optimization.
Define scalability and capacity-planning strategies that hold across a wide range of customer scale and hardware, and establish frameworks for performance, observability, and operational excellence in constrained and air-gapped environments.
Lead the translation of SaaS/cloud-native capabilities into on-prem architecture, refine vaguely specified complex requirements into robust, future-proof end-to-end designs, and define coding patterns and standards that span multiple teams.
Influence the engineering roadmap, drive medium-to-large initiatives that span teams, mentor staff and senior engineers, and act as a cross-team technical authority sought out to review the work of others.

As a Staff Escalation Manager- Prompt Security, you will be tasked with leading and coordinating complex customer escalations, focusing on resolving complex issues and ensuring our customers receive timely, high-quality technical support as we scale our Generative AI security platform. We are seeking a highly collaborative, approachable, and customer-focused individual who will serve as the primary liaison between Technical Support, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams, ensuring that high-impact issues are triaged quickly, prioritized correctly, and driven to resolution with clear and consistent communication.
What will you do?
The bulk of your time will be spent deflecting Jira tickets by providing solutions, KBs, and 1-on-1 training directly to the Support team. You will validate priority, review, and manage Jira tickets before engaging Development.
You will also perform trend analysis to identify top product defects and collaborate with the Documentation, Learning and Development (L&D), and Product Management teams to create and update knowledge. Code review may also be applicable, and suggestions for code improvements shared with engineering and Product Management.
For customer escalations, you will help engage the relevant stakeholders in internal and customer-facing conversations, and may lead those conversations from a technical perspective.
