About Algo platform:
The objective of the algo platform group is to own the existing algo platform (including health, stability, productivity and enablement), to facilitate and be involved in new platform experimentation within the algo craft and lead the platformization of the parts which should graduate into production scale. This includes support of ongoing ML projects while ensuring smooth operations and infrastructure reliability, owning a full set of capabilities, design and planning, implementation and production care.
The group has deep ties with both the algo craft as well as the infra group. The group reports to the infra department and has a dotted line reporting to the algo craft leadership.
The group serves as the professional authority when it comes to ML engineering and ML ops, serves as a focal point in a multidisciplinary team of algorithm researchers, product managers, and engineers and works with the most senior talent within the algo craft in order to achieve ML excellence.

solve applied radar processing problems.
develop radar and environment simulations for verification of algorithm pipes at the system level.

Understand deeply, implement, train, and evaluate recent state-of-the-art algorithms in computer vision (e.g., object detection, semantic segmentation, self-supervised learning, vision transformers) for various domains.
Adapt algorithms into robust and scalable production-ready algorithms. Write clean and efficient code, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and frameworks, and real-time needs. Take full responsibility for your algorithms end-to-end until deployment on the edge device for production.
Develop and implement new computer vision algorithms (architectures, loss functions, post-processing, training, and evaluation methods) that surpass SOTA algorithms and achieve desired performance levels in our domain.

you will be part of our rem (road experience management) department, which is responsible for the automatic high-definition map-making process, which is a key technology in autonomous driving and high-end driving assistance systems. vision-based localization is a key enabler for utilizing and creating the maps. our group is responsible for aligning the map with the world, and reporting detected changes during the drive. our technology is safety-critical, and the code has strict time and memory constraints as it operates in real time. what will your job look like:

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Path Planning Algorithm Engineer to design and develop the core planning intelligence of our autonomy stack - responsible for generating safe, comfortable, and feasible driving paths in real-world environments.
This role is key to turning perception and world understanding into actionable motion, enabling robust and scalable autonomous driving for millions of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop Path Planning algorithms for L2+ up to Eyes-Off autonomy
Build planning components such as:
path generation and refinement
constraint-aware planning (lane geometry, static/dynamic obstacles, traffic rules)
optimization-based planning and feasibility checks
Develop and improve planning modules integrated with our world model, digital twin, and edge-AI stack
Implement and optimize algorithms in C++ with real-time performance constraints
Work closely with perception, prediction, and control teams to define clean interfaces and ensure end-to-end robustness
Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews
Contribute to validation methodologies, scenario-based testing, and fleet-feedback loops
