We are seeking a process and mechanical engineer to join our dynamic Test Engineering team. As a key member you will be responsible for solving production failures, increase our yields, reduce MRB and initiate cost reduction activities, design tools, fixtures, and jigs to support robust manufacturing of our companys products.
The production engineer will have a full ownership over the testers in the production line, including a full understanding of their processes, products and BOMs to ensure a high yield with a high-quality product.
Key Responsibilities
Define and design jigs, tools and fixture to allow repetitive and robust manufacturing with mass production orientation.
Lead investigations and find solutions to improve manufacturing yield and product quality
Work on production line escalations to resolve short and long-time issues.
Leading Engineering changes as the prime interface to introduce necessary engineering/R&D changes while understanding the implications in Logistic, Testing and Production.
Have knowledge and involvement in all disciplines (Electronics, Mechanics, and Optics) and attendance in production to improve Production processes.
Construct and maintain complex Bills of Materials (BOM).
ECOs Leading and writing DVP/IOQ/PQP protocols and reports for change validations at production line.
Work closely with other disciplines in the organization to coordinate various activities such as purchasing, R&D, Quality, Planning, Production etc.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize integration challenges.

As a member of Design Engineering Group, you will be responsible for escorting new products from R&D to production and managing a team of 4 engineers



Manager NPI & CPE

Coordinate and participate with local and abroad R&D teams on design for manufacturability and implementation of new products in the production line
Monitor and interact with R&D project managers, system engineers and designers to optimize design for operations needs
Optimize and manage design changes for contract manufacturing and full turnkey (DFX)
Manage and control Turnkey activities for system building/subunits local and overseas
Conduct ECO processes to assure system quality, manufacturability and improvements
Manage Sub contractors for Assembly lines and mechanical/ electromechanical parts manufacturing.
Define the product integration processes
Be responsible for building Product/ Production file, Product documentation, BOM, jigs and tools design
Additionally, develop workflows, protocols, and provide tactical direction, programs, support in the administration of NPI and mechanical engineering
Develop, manage and conduct FAI processes for new products and their assemblies
Represent Engineering at PLCM gates and product management forums

CPE

Increase quality, reliability and serviceability by designing improved sub-units for current systems
Design new jigs and fixtures for current products
lead cost savings through hardware redesigns
Field POC for current product support
support current product revitalizations and improvements
Manage EOL and 2nd source activities
Coordinate and participate with local and abroad R&D teams on design for manufacturability and implementation of existing products in the production line
Monitor and interact with R&D project managers, system engineers and designers to optimize design for operations needs
Optimize and manage design changes for contract manufacturing and full turn-key (DFX)
Support the Production line and customer support on an on-going basis including managing escalations
Develop, manage and conduct FAI processes for new assemblies
Serve as Operations technical link to R&D (SW, ME, EE, SE)

The Production Engineer is responsible for defining, maintaining, and continuously improving production processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and scalability. Lead initiatives to improve first pass yield, reduce cycle time, and enhance process efficiency.
Develop, and maintain work instructions, assembly guides, drawings, wiring diagrams and production documentation.
Develop, and maintain tooling and fixtures to ensure consistent performance and compliance with quality standards.
Support new product introductions by readying production lines, validating manufacturing processes, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure a smooth ramp‑up.
Oversee second-source qualifications for mechanical components, ensuring supply chain resilience and quality consistency.
Identify and implement solutions to reduce rework and scrap rates, contributing to overall cost reduction and product reliability.
Manage communication with key subcontractors and external partners to resolve manufacturing challenges and align quality and delivery expectations.
Lead or provide engineering support for cross-functional projects that support strategic manufacturing goals, including automation, lean initiatives, and capacity scaling, when required.

The Engineering Department is looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join the Engineering- NPI HW Matrix Team.
Responsibilities
What will you be doing:
Lead changes via Engineering Change Orders (ECOs); build and update Bill of Material (BOM) definitions, hierarchy, and structure levels while addressing operational aspects.
Lead NPI (New Product Introduction) activities, design for manufacturability, cycle time, reliability, and focus on technology methods, industry familiarity.
Define and write technical documentation such as assembly instructions, routing instructions, calibration instructions, test plans, etc.
Lead mechanical design and improvements via SolidEdge/SolidWorks, handle CAD models and drawing definitions.
Drive mechanical design activities, for example: opto-mechanics, electro-mechanics, chassis, package design, test devices (jigs), and fixtures.
Work with our suppliers and subcontractors, acting as a technical focal point and leading suppliers New Product Introduction (NPI).
Play a technical pivot role in the Operations department and collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Production, Purchasing, Planning, and Service.
