As a Q&R Process Engineer, you will serve as the critical link between design and mass production. You will ensure product integrity, optimize manufacturing workflows, and drive continuous quality improvement across the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Design & Development: Lead cross-functional reviews of engineering samples, drawings, and BOMs to mitigate quality risks during early production phases.
* DFM & Reporting: Generate and analyze Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reports to document discrepancies and champion process optimization.
* Supplier & Material Quality: Oversee inspection and testing of early-run materials; partner with suppliers to resolve quality issues and close the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) loop.
* Pilot Production: Manage pilot runs with a focus on reliability and traceability. Validate equipment, fixtures, and Work Instructions (WI) to ensure all design requirements are met.
* Performance Monitoring: Analyze production yields and quality metrics, collaborating with Contract Manufacturers (CM) to develop and execute improvement plans.
* Quality Control: Establish robust QC inspection guidelines and set up quality control points for initial batches; provide hands-on training and oversight to the QC team.
* Issue Management: Proactively manage and monitor all engineering and quality concerns from identification through to final resolution.

Requirements: * Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical, Materials, or Electronics Engineering.
* Experience: 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) and mass production within the electronics industry.
* Technical Skills: Deep expertise in electronics quality standards, including SCAR, 8D, MRB, IQC, and Sampling Plans. Experience with audit methodologies is a significant advantage.
* Engineering Knowledge: Strong command of electronic manufacturing technologies, failure analysis (FA), NPI workflows, and technical drawing interpretation (including advanced measurement methodologies).
* Soft Skills: Self-motivated and task-oriented with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a cross-functional management environment.
* Language: Native or professional-level fluency in English (written and spoken). Work Location & Travel
* Primary Location: Ziporit Industrial Zone (approx. 4 days per week).
* Secondary Location: Herzliya (1 day per week).
* Travel: Ability to travel internationally approximately two weeks per quarter.
