We are looking for a Creative Content Editor (Sports) to join our marketing team.
Responsibilities

We're not just looking for a proofreader-we're looking for a true "Sports Junkie." If you have a deep understanding of the sports world (from the pitch to the court) and a proven track record managing content in the sports industry, you may be the MVP we need.
Architect the Content Strategy: Plan, build, and execute a comprehensive content marketing plan across in-app, web, and social channels. Manage detailed daily and weekly editorial schedules.
Master of Operations: Manage daily content operations-aggregate breaking news, edit copy for impact, and execute content promotions.
Social Pages Management: Curate and manage content on our social channels to maximize engagement.
Drive Results: Set the editorial agenda to achieve short-term engagement wins while staying true to long-term brand goals.
Localization Expert: Edit and optimize our product language to resonate with the US market.
Agile Support: Support various marketing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Strong passion and knowledge in sports, with broad understanding of the global and local sports landscape
2+ years as a Content/Marketing Manager or Editor in the sports media industry
Strong understanding of Generative AI tools and how to leverage them to optimize workflows and enhance content creation
Deep understanding of social media platforms and the ability to package and adapt content for different channels
Editorial and storytelling skills, with the ability to shape narratives and select relevant stories for the right moment
Fluent English proficiency; familiarity with American sports culture (additional languages are a plus)
Creative mindset and strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, including flexibility to work during major sports events, weekends, and non-standard hours when needed
Project management capabilities, problem-solving orientation, and initiative
Tech-savvy and fast learner, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
