We are looking for a Principal Backend Engineer to join our Cortex backend engineering group.
The group develops and maintains the backend of Cortex products Cortex XSOAR, Cortex XDR, and Cortex XSIAM. The great majority of the Cortex engineering group is located in the TLV office which allows us to operate at a high pace with short loops of decisionmaking.
You will join a team focused on developing, innovating, and scaling the Cortex XSOAR product, along with contributing to shared Cortex infrastructures and components. We are looking for candidates with a cando attitude, who are passionate about complex problems and thrive on bringing value to thousands of customers.

Production at scale!
Endtoend backend development of features and components across their entire life cycle (design, develop, test, deploy, maintain)
Providing real time mitigation and solutions to complex production issues
Work closely with peers across different teams and disciplines to shape solutions and integrate with other parts of the product
Contribute to teamwide efforts code reviews, design reviews, technical and architectural decisions
Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to ensure the smooth operation of our production systems and provide real-time support for critical issues.

We are hiring for a Principal Backend Engineer to join our fast-paced KSPM (Kubernetes Security Posture Management) team in Cortex Cloud, located in our TLV office. Cortex Cloud is our company's next-generation cloud security solution.
In this role, you'll be key in developing and scaling the core parts of our KSPM solution. Our team's goal is to help Cortex Cloud customers understand and fix security issues in their Kubernetes workloads across all major cloud providers.

The team is responsible for developing automation infrastructure and various cloud based tools and platforms that are used across the research, development and QA departments to ensure the functionality, stability and quality of the XDR product, alongside the efficiency of the infrastructure and process used to build, test and deploy on various clouds and distributions. We believe that the platforms & infrastructure that the team provides are a critical & crucial part of our department's progress to the modern future and one of our key growth factors.
As a Platform engineer you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our development and automation experience by pushing forward modern automation approaches, eliminating manual efforts and introducing new development operations for continuous integration, scale & durability using advanced cloud services. Your expertise will be used in areas such as infrastructure development, cloud based automation, serverless infrastructure, automation as a service, providing technical guidance, and pushing infrastructure\configuration as a code and GitOps approach across the development departments.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in modern cloud based automation methodologies and a comprehensive understanding of industry best practices, especially in redundancy and scalability of large systems and the ability to control them via SCM based declarative configs.
