A well-funded deep-tech semiconductor company with long-term customers is seeking a Senior Device Engineer
to lead the design, modeling, and architecture of novel high-power and high-frequency transistor devices.
Main Tasks:
? Develop models for describing underlying device physics and build simulations for device performance
based on layout and material properties
? Design and optimize device structures, geometry and dimensions based on fabrication capabilities to
meet required performance and application specifications
? Define and execute in-depth electrical characterization of fabricated devices
? Analyze and report on electrical and device measurement outcomes
Requirements: ? Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of semiconductor device modeling and simulation is
essential.
? Familiarity with microfabrication devices, transistor design, modeling, and packaging.
? 4+ years of experience designing and characterizing semiconductor devices.
? Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pace/demanding environment.
? Experience with transistor design (e.g., FET, TFT, or CMOS).
? Strong understanding of device physics, design, and characterization.
? Experience with various semiconducting materials such as GaN, Si, metal oxides, or other wide band-gap
materials.
? Excellent analytical skills.
? An M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or similar disciplines, with
relevant experience.
Useful:
? Experience working with high-power FETs or RF FETs.
? Experience with Silicon-on Insulator (SOI) technology
