The role Own, design, and evolve our production cloud platform (AWS), Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform) so teams ship reliably, safely, and fast.
What youll do
* Architect, build, and run resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure; drive AWS Well-Architected pillars (operational excellence, security, reliability, performance, cost, sustainability).
* Champion GitOps (e.g., Argo CD): declarative configs, PR-driven changes, continuous reconciliation.
* Implement and evolve CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Argo CD), secrets management, policy-as-code, and environment promotion.
* Build first-class observability (OpenTelemetry + Prometheus) across apps and infra.
* Partner with internal and external teams (engineers, data, vendors, customers) to deliver platform capabilities and service.
* Lead/mentor engineers; drive Terraform standards, modules, and reviews.
* Optimize cost and efficiency (FinOps) while maintaining reliability.
* Define SLOs/SLIs and error budgets; lead incident readiness, response, and post-mortems.

Were seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to serve as the sole dedicated DevOps person for our engineering group. This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering. You will partner broadly across our engineering teams, supporting specific squads or initiatives to drive DevOps, infrastructure, automation, cloud operations, tooling, and cost optimization.

Your work will span external cloud operations, internal dev teams CI/CD and deployment automation, AI/LLM tooling, and cloud FinOps.

In this role, you will:

Lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of our cloud infrastructure and deployments especially on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure (with GCP a strong preference; experience on both is a big plus)

Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and developer tooling to streamline releases, reduce friction, and increase team velocity

Collaborate with different engineering teams to identify manual/deployment bottlenecks, build and deliver automation solutions, and improve their DevOps practices.

Execute engineering org-wide initiatives, including AI/LLM gateway tooling, internal dev tooling (e.g., Claude Code assistants), and other horizontal improvements.

Drive Cloud FinOps: monitor, analyse, and optimise cloud spend; evaluate and implement self-hosting (versus SaaS) alternatives; proactively reduce cost while maintaining reliability and scale.

Support operational practices including monitoring, alerting, incident response, backups, disaster recovery, security best practices, and infrastructure scalability.

Be the go-to DevOps partner across teams - youll rotate focus as needed among squads, enabling them to self-serve faster.

we are looking for a DevOps Director to lead and scale our DevOps and SRE teams. This role blends strategic leadership with deep technical expertise ensuring our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production environments are reliable, secure, and cost-efficient. Youll define our DevOps vision, drive automation, and evolve our observability, scalability, and release practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor DevOps and SRE engineers across multiple locations.
Define the roadmap for infrastructure, automation, reliability, and cost optimization.
Partner with R&D, QA, and Product teams to enable smooth, scalable, and continuous delivery.
Oversee cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring performance and cost efficiency.
Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Helm for Kubernetes deployments.
Own CI/CD pipelines built with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
Lead observability, monitoring, and incident management using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
Ensure compliance, security, and best practices across infrastructure and operations.

We use a modern DevOps tech stack including Jenkins, Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, OpenShift, TAS), BitBucket, GitHub, Python, Terraform, and follow GitOps and Agile best practices.
