We are seeking a skilled AS400 Developer to join a dynamic team, for one of our costumers. This role requires strong background in AS400 programming and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. A full time, on site position, based in Rishon Le Zion, Israel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain AS400 applications using RPG and CL programming languages.
* Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to gather requirements and design solutions.
* Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve production issues.
* Write and maintain technical documentation for developed software.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
* Ensure code quality through testing and validation processes.
* Support the deployment of software updates and patches in production environments.
Requirements: * Minimum of 3 years of experience in AS400 development, specifically with RPG.
* Proven experience in integrating AS400 applications with other systems.
* Strong understanding of database management and SQL on the AS400 platform.
* Experience with system analysis and troubleshooting techniques in AS400 environments.
* Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
