On your day to day
As the Processing team lead, you will lead a team of backend and video engineers responsible for the companys media processing pipeline. Youll own the architecture and scalability of both Real-Time and offline processing systems, ensuring top performance and cost efficiency. Working closely with our AI, Product, and Infrastructure teams. Youll drive innovation in how Riverside processes and optimizes large-scale video and audio data using distributed systems and cloud-native technologies, while establishing best practices for monitoring, observability, and quality control across the entire processing stack. Beyond the technical leadership, youll mentor and grow engineers, fostering technical excellence and a culture of ownership, creativity, and impact.

Leading a team of software developers, focusing on the products core
Working with your counterpart PM to define the scope and phases that will help to achieve the best effort vs value balance
Leading design review sessions, identifying technical bottlenecks and overpowering features when obstacles are discovered
Introducing and improving the engineering practices on the team from planning to retrospective - from testing and ci/cd to design principles
Hiring the best talent for the team, as the team is expected to continue growing

What Will You Do?
Build and lead a new team from scratch.
Mentor and guide junior developers, focusing on professional growth.
Lead the development of pre-built security steps, workflows, and templates to accelerate customer adoption.
Collaborate closely with a dedicated PM to align product priorities with business goals and deliver maximum customer value.
Improve workflows and create unified standards for security content and processes.
Build and enhance engineering infrastructure, including CI/CD, DevOps, platform reliability, and testing systems.
Foster a multidisciplinary, innovative environment while maintaining high engineering standards.

As a Backend Billing Team Leader , you will lead and mentor a global team of 8 engineers that build superb Billing applications and systems that is the basis for product.

The Billing team is responsible for building and maintaining compliant billing system that supports both B2C and B2B customers, as well as our drivers and fleets.

We handle high-scale financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and reliability.

You will be working in collaboration with other team leaders and team members on requirements, design, and development.

The ideal candidate will have strong managerial experience in managing teams, and must have high professional skills, great interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of building strong technological teams.
