Were looking for a DevOps Team Leader to lead our DevOps efforts as we scale. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, strong project and people management skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

The ideal candidate will lead the day-to-day operations of the DevOps team, ensure operational excellence, drive platform improvements, and manage cross-functional alignment with Dev/Finance/Security/ higher manager.

Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Execution

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps team.
Manage day-to-day operations including incident management and task prioritization.
Ensure SLAs and compliance requirements are met.
Balance proactive platform improvements with reactive issue resolution.
Platform Ownership

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a secure, scalable, multi-region AWS infrastructure.
Own CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), observability (logs, metrics, tracing), and automation tooling.
Ensure robust disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity practices are in place and regularly tested.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Act as the main point of contact between DevOps and external/internal stakeholders: Banks, Regulators, Security teams, NOC/SOC, and Development teams.
Communicate clearly on priorities, incidents, risks, timelines, and platform status.
Represent DevOps in cross-functional planning and reviews.
Process & Standards

Define and evolve the DevOps teams SDLC, deployment standards, and incident response processes.
Drive best practices in monitoring, alerting, and reliability engineering.
Champion a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Team Lead to take ownership of our infrastructure, DevOps practices, and automation pipelines.

You will be the technical and operational lead for a small but growing DevOps team, driving reliability, scalability, and security across our cloud environments.

In this role, you will split your time between leading and mentoring the team, designing and evolving infrastructure, and implementing solutions.

What Youll Do

Lead, mentor, and grow the DevOps team.
Define and enforce DevOps best practices across infrastructure, CI/CD, and security.
Manage the SeaPod Lab environment for developer and test usage.
Operate and evolve the SeaPod Server Linux infrastructure, deployed at scale worldwide, handling complex connectivity and security.
Maintain consistent baselines, update tools, and ensure fleet-wide monitoring and support.
Design, manage, and evolve AWS infrastructure (VPC, IAM, networking, RDS, EKS, etc.).
Operate and upgrade Kubernetes/EKS clusters, manage Helm charts, operators, and custom resources.
Define namespace policies, quotas, and resource allocations.
Drive security, compliance, and cost optimization.
Maintain and enhance GitLab CI pipelines for multiple workloads (Lambda, EKS, EC2, etc.).
Integrate testing, linting, and vulnerability scans into CI/CD workflows.
Build reusable pipeline components for microservices.
Own monitoring and alerting strategies (Grafana, CloudWatch, Coralogix, Prometheus).
Operate and tune PostgreSQL (RDS, Aurora) and manage backups/restores.

Lead Technical Strategy: Define the technical vision and roadmap for our DevOps and Production Engineering capabilities, aligning multiple teams around common patterns, tools, and practices.
Design Cloud-Native Solutions: Architect and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, IaC, and other modern frameworks to power our growing technology ecosystem.
Accelerate Developer Experience: Spearhead improvements to our CI/CD pipelines, developer portals, and internal platforms to empower engineering teams to ship higher-quality software, faster.
Optimize Data Infrastructure: Engineer and support robust platforms for our data-intensive workloads, ensuring the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of systems leveraging technologies like Kafka.
Drive DevOps Transformation: Mentor team members, lead the Production Engineering & DevOps Infra function, and collaborate with fellow R&D leaders to champion modern practices across the organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement
Drive the teams strategic direction in alignment with company goals and engineering needs.
Oversee AWS infrastructure design, provisioning, and optimization.
Collaborate with Security department on DevSecOps initiatives.
Utilize AI to improve team velocity
Own and operate global services such as DNS, S3, CloudFront, and certificate management.

The DevOps Team Leader position is an operational engineering role and is an integrated part of our development team. Develop and Support RnD toolchain and implement best practices for code deployment, testing, and maintenance.
Automate On-Premises Labs Infrastructure by adopting IaC practices.
Lead and Develop Monitoring, Telemetry, Alerting, and Logging Production services.
