As a data-driven organization, insights from our Data Team are essential to shape our strategy and improve the experiences of our customers. We’re looking for a highly motivated data analyst to join our team and work in a dynamic Big Data environment You are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about understanding user behavior. In this role, you’ll turn data into actionable insights, influence product decisions, and help drive the success of our platform.
Key Responsibilities Analyze user behavior: Monitor and evaluate website activity patterns and user flows to enhance usability and customer experience. AB Testing: Conduct in-depth analysis of AB tests to provide stakeholders with actionable, data-driven recommendations for product and user value enhancements. Metric Monitoring & Insights: Track product performance metrics, identify trends, and raise alerts on significant changes. Perform periodic and ad-hoc analyses to recommend impactful solutions. Visualization & Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and daily summaries that present key SaaS metrics and actionable insights. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with teams across Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Management to support data-driven decision-making.

As a Data Analyst you will be working with colleagues from various disciplines, such as - Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Risk, Data Scientists within the team and other Data Analysts - on their KPIs, the way they observe information and the hardest questions each team is facing in order to drive insights and keep us a data driven company. You will play a key role in the ability of each team at Melio to keep scaling!

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team and take a leading role in shaping the future of our data science. We need your CTO-grade capabilities to incubate and launch the data product offering, creating value to our customers via reports and recommendations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, enjoys working across disciplines, and wants to see their work go from concept to impact in the real world.

Today, this is a high-impact individual contributor role. However, it is intentionally structured to evolve into a leadership position. As our product, customer base, and data expand, youll be instrumental in building and leading a dedicated data science team, with full ownership of methodologies, tools, and people.

The Data Science Team Leader at Product will report to the VP Product.

What Youll Do:
Be a Prisma Photonics technology expert understand the ins and outs of how our products work.
Understand the physics underlying each product feature, devise the method by which the feature operates, and work with R&D to build, improve and deploy it.
Create our Data Product offering build a set of reports and recommendations to customers, exposing the value of the underlying technology.
Analyze customer data and field deployments to identify edge cases, improve models, and drive continuous product improvement. Bridge the gaps ad-hoc to bring immediate customer value, using AI and data analytics skills, as well as collaborating with R&D, Product, and AI teams.
Implement algorithmic solutions to solve urgent issues, with a clear path toward production deployment.
Once the business need arises and team expansion begins, take an active role in hiring, mentoring, and leading a team of data scientists and analysts.
