we are actively recruiting for a Digital Pre-Sales Expert to join our Digital team full time. The Digital Pre-Sales Expert position is a perfect blend of an art and science having the technical and working knowledge to describe our products to our customer, but also having the whereabouts and business acumen to interact with said customers at different levels of their business. The Pre-Sales Director will also determine the technical requirements needed to meet client goals from a software perspective and work with internal teams to help configure a best solution for our customer. This role will work closely with existing customers and prospects to define the right proposition and be closely connected to the internal product team to feed market information into the R&D process. The role will also demo our solutions to customers and be the liaison between external and internal functions to meet the digital needs of our customers.
Job Responsibilities
Take lead and/or participate in opportunity assessment, qualification, developing response strategy and proposals, process improvement, competitive positioning, and pricing / commercial decisions and overall product sales efforts in the direct and indirect global sales channels. Engage with customers to articulate winning propositions
Technical solutioning for business problems and building impactful clients presentations and pitches, using consulting framework as part of bid process. Preparation, configuration and delivery of prototypes & demonstrations in Data & Analytics space
Delivering business-oriented presentations to all levels of the customer organization including board level to support Sales cycle.
Leading the benefits assessment process and developing customized ROI/ROR analysis
Creating and owning documents for different Lines of Businesses (LOBs), Practice areas, along with case studies, white papers and other sales collaterals and assist Sales in pitch evangelism
Provide support as required to the implementation team to ensure successful companys solution implementations and ongoing engagement with the customers
Provide timely and accurate communication to management and other team members
Perform market analysis to enhance the demo environments as per market evolution
Work in close alignment with delivery teams on existing accounts to identify and position additional value to the existing customers
Assist sales team in prospecting with relevant market / company specific research data
Assist marketing with support for events, PR, seminars and campaigns.
Requirements: 10+ years of experience as a consultant / technical sale/ pre-sales/ sales engineer role
Excellent understanding of the Digital domain is a must
Hands-on experience in digital platform technologies is desirable.
Understanding of the insurance business is preferred
Strong understanding of software solutions / products, previous experience in the similar role in an Insurance Software Vendor, is preferred
Ability to design solutions for the customer including multiple solutions and potential prototypes
Ability to design and deliver customer workshops, presentations and demonstrations
Proven ability to work independently in order to prepare for demos and provide them
Excellent communication and presentations skills with an ability to engage confidentially at executive management level with customer organizations
Ability to match customer functional requirements and application system options/functionality effectively and efficiently
Comfortable operating within a cross-functional, remote team environment which depends on, and expects empowerment from its people
Excellent stakeholder management and client facing skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Willingness to travel as needed.
