We are looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Engineering Manager with a strong background in NPI and experience in engineering and manufacturing environments.
This role involves managing the companys engineering activities, overseeing production and testing processes (including subcontractors), and leading cross-functional collaboration.
The position reports directly to the Global VP of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Engineering Department, including:
Leading NPI processes creation of manufacturing packages (drawings, work instructions, etc.)
Company-wide configuration control, including managing ECO/ECN processes.
Component engineering and ongoing support for production and subcontractors.
Hands-on engineering support where needed.
Define, implement, and lead transfer-to-production processes with a focus on DFM and development gates.
Lead the implementation of a PLM system (preferably Arena).
Work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Customer Support to meet cross-departmental needs.
Develop engineering workflows and procedures; monitor and report on engineering KPIs.
Drive cost reduction and production process improvements while maintaining quality and production goals.
Lead failure analysis, solve production process issues, and ensure engineering compliance.
Participate in early product design phases (DRs), focusing on manufacturability and design optimization.
Requirements: Degree or diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in engineering/production roles within a multidisciplinary environment Must.
Proven experience in NPI and transfer-to-production processes Must.
Experience working with subcontractors Must.
Strong English skills written and spoken Must.
Experience with ERP and PLM systems.
Previous experience managing an engineering or production team.
Experience in RF technologies.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and knowledge of industry drawing standards.
Experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing and development company (supplier management, complaints, corrective/preventive actions).
Deep familiarity with testing and inspection environments.
