Social Media and Marketing Manager

A leading gap year program for Jewish young adults from around the world, offering participants the opportunity to live independently in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem while experiencing internships, volunteering, travel, Hebrew learning, and immersive Jewish and Israeli experiences. Our mission is to help young Jews build a deep, personal connection to Israel and their Jewish identity.
We are seeking a passionate and driven Social Media and Marketing Manager to join our team and help grow the next generation of our participants.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for organizations online presence including on social media ( instagram, facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube), blogs, study abroad and gap year websites
Create and collect content including videos, photos, newsletters, and blog posts
Maximize brand awareness and manage the online reputation of the organization, its programs, and ventures.
Assist with website maintenance
Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of online presence
Explore new avenues for promoting the program
Develop marketing materials and strategies
Create basic graphic design materials for the organization
Regular interaction with students, alumni, and staff

Requirements: Requirements:
Proven record of creativity and effectiveness on social media
Ability to build and implement a social media marketing strategy
Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of marketing
Skilled using Canva, basic graphic design, basic video editing, and newsletter software
Understanding of social media metrics and analytics
Successful at building and maintaining relationships, online and off
Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide others when necessary
Knowledge and understanding of English-speaking Jewish Diaspora community

Excellent communication skills in English (written and orally) required
Hebrew proficient
