Required Financial Analyst, FinOps
What will you do:
The Finance FinOps Analyst to focus on financial management of our Cloud Operations, reporting to the FP&A Finance Manager Corporate. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, high-growth environment and have an immediate impact, by providing valuable insights that will inform the Companys strategic decisions. The Financial FinOps Analyst will work with a wide range of stakeholders to support cost accountability, analytics and awareness for our cloud operations. Key areas the role will support, include: financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting, analysis, reporting and KPIs:
Responsible for the Cloud costs Budget, Forecast and Actuals analysis, by budget owner and Cloud Provider
Define and develop unit of economic analysis and dashboards
Monitor cloud usage and spend data at the account level to identify and investigate anomalies and spot cost-saving opportunities
Work with various stakeholders to help them optimize their Cloud spend
Collaborate with Cloud operations and technology teams to help develop and implement strategies to optimize cloud costs across Cloud providers
Recommend changes to cloud service usage, pricing models, and purchasing options
Develop policies and procedures to ensure cloud optimization strategy is executed to a high standard
Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and track cloud costs
Creating reports and dashboards to track and communicate cloud cost optimization efforts to stakeholders.
Requirements: What you need to succeed:
Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Accounting, MBA is advantage
4+ years of related experience including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, preferably from a public company.
2+ years of professional experience with ITAM, Cloud FinOps
Good systems aptitude and knowledge of Cloud management software
Practical knowledge of cloud provider cost management capabilities and pricing models
Experience with third party cloud aggregator software in reserved instance and savings plan recommendations, tagging policies, forecasting, anomaly detection
Very accurate, precise, and organized, with attention to detail
A high level of commitment and motivation
