A fast-growing restaurant-tech company, is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Engineering team lead to own a core product team and drive its technical direction in a high-scale, data -driven environment. In this role, you will lead a team of offshore engineers, stay deeply involved in coding and architecture, and build systems that power millions of diners and thousands of restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a FullStack offshore engineering team.
- Own the design and implementation of scalable architectures, services, and APIs in a modern microservices environment.
- Stay strongly hands-on (around 50%-70% of the time) across backend and frontend codebases.
- Work closely with Product and business stakeholders to plan and deliver roadmap items on time and with high quality.
This is a hybrid position from Ramat Gan.
Requirements: - 5+ years of backend development with Node.js ( JavaScript /TypeScript).
- 3+ years of modern frontend experience (Vue.js is a plus; React /Angular also relevant).
- 2+ years in a team lead or tech lead role, leading delivery end-to-end.
- Proven experience designing scalable systems and RESTful APIs.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ, AWS, and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong testing mindset and production-grade coding standards.
- Fluent professional English, comfortable working daily with distributed/offshore teams.
- A hands-on technical leader who enjoys both writing code and developing
- Experience with Storybook and/or design systems.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and alerting in production environments.
- Background in high-traffic or Real-Time systems.
