The Senior Optical Systems Engineer will have responsibility for working closely with the test cell development team to understand test hardware software and algorithms. The candidate will develop optical test instrumentation architecture for emerging markets within semiconductor test. Instrumentation may include laser sources, polarizers, optical fibers and connectors, optical sensors, photo-diodes, along with motion systems, cameras, and image-analysis software. As a member of the Silicon Photonics Engineering team, you will be a key player delivering test solutions and deployment at customers sites. You will be working closely with the customer engineers, Teradyne engineering and applications engineering to ensure on-time delivery.

we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to be based in our Israel office. This role is primarily dedicated to supporting systems located facility, while also providing additional support during peak demand periods at customer sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and reconfiguring test systems and probers, supporting device program development, overseeing facility equipment, and coordinating with external vendors.


Key Responsibilities

Maintain and reconfigure Teradyne office-based systems and probers in alignment with device program development requirements.
Supervise facility equipment and coordinate vendor support for maintenance and repairs.
Provide technical assistance to customers and field teams, both on-site and remotely (via phone or email).
Install and upgrade test systems, including hardware options and software updates.
Diagnose and repair system issues at both Teradyne facilities and customer locations.
Be available for frequent travel, including international assignments, on short notice.

Responsibilities

Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for semiconductor devices on ATE test systems (HW and SW).
Supporting test program correlations and release to production activities.

Troubleshooting of test issues and improving test methodologies.

Collect customer needs and requests, communicate to internal engineering team to develop new solutions for customer.

- Learn the names of members and guests with the goal of building relationships in order to facilitate the sense of Community is known for.
- Anticipate member and guest needs before they arise using relevant information collected about members to enhance and personalize their experience.
- Ensure building Specific forms are up to date including pet forms, filming requests, bike room requests, etc.
- Keep the front desk clean and organized.
- Notify members of any food deliveries and couriers.
- Answer any questions from members and guests related to the building including way-finding, policies and procedures, community etiquette, etc.
