We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a passion for technology and innovation. You will play a key role in building and enhancing our platform, collaborating closely with product and professional services teams.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance the application
Design and implement features that improve user experience and system performance
Take ownership of tasks and deliver high-quality, scalable code
Build and maintain cloud-based microservices on AWS
Develop applications on the Force.com platform
Provide technical support for production environments
Identify and evaluate new technologies to align with business needs
Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
Analyze business models and customer requirements to design Salesforce solutions

What youll be doing
Leading the design and implementation of a 24/7 high-scale distributed system
Proactively participating in every aspect of the software development lifecycle of feature development, including input on specifications, designs, implementation, test, optimization, and delivery
Owning, monitoring, and improving our services in the production environment, performing on-call duties
Owning and leading collaborative efforts with various stakeholders including Product, IT, and R&D teams
Becoming a technical leader; researching and promoting new technologies and tools
Facing technical challenges - performance, fault-tolerance, security, and live production issues
Writing unit tests, integration tests, and CI/CD procedures

We are looking for a highly motivated backend software engineer specializing in creating high-scale, distributed backend systems.

You must demonstrate solid software engineering skills, excellent interpersonal communication, extreme ownership, and the ability to accept and give meaningful technical feedback.

You will be responsible for designing architecture, writing correct, robust code, maintaining and improving existing functionality, and shipping new features.

You will work as part of a Scrum-Agile cross-functional team and collaborate with front-end engineers, quality engineers, product managers, and more.

The platform you help us build will scale novel functionality to millions of Plus users worldwide.

What Youll Do - Responsibilities

Design and build scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIs
Drive the migration of large-scale, distributed trading services towards cloud-native microservices
Solve problems using distributed, asynchronous messaging
Tackle technical challenges - performance, fault-tolerance, security, and live production issues
Work closely with product, DevOps\SRE, and infrastructure teams - we practice full-cycle development where developers own and operate what they build.

* Design and develop products using Object-Oriented Programming languages, including Java (Spring Framework), JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Apex, and related technologies.
* Perform object and entity modeling on the Force.com platform.
* Collaborate using Git for version control and code management.
* Write clean, effective code for both simple and complex user tasks.
* Work in an agile, rapid development and prototyping environment where effective communication is essential.
* Contribute to building a positive, can-do, high-performance environment.
What You Bring
* Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
* Experience with interfaces, batch classes, queue able, invocable classes, callouts.
* Excellent understanding of object-oriented design patterns & experience with Java (Spring Framework)
* Good Data Structure and Algorithms experience.
* Experience building web-based user interfaces, with a fair understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
* Experience with and knowledge of relational databases.
* Familiarity with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, AngularJS, React.
* Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
* Experience with Agile development -A Strong advantage.
* Experience with Git for version control -A Strong advantage.
* Bachelor degree, specializing in computer science or similar engineering discipline.
* Fluent in Hebrew & English
