About the Role:
Were hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep cloud infrastructure experience to join our globally distributed team.
In this role, youll be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure across GCP and AWS, leveraging modern technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, and service mesh frameworks. Youll build automation that developers love, champion operational excellence, and continuously improve our ability to ship fast, safely, and at scale.
What Youll Do?
Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure in GCP and AWS, ensuring scalability, performance, and resilience.
Lead the deployment and lifecycle management of Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE) and supporting services.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and updates using Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
Architect and maintain secure network configurations, IAM policies, and service connectivity.
Develop internal tools, templates, and self-service platforms to empower engineering teams.
Enhance observability using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana for metrics, logs, and tracing.
Perform root cause analysis, resolve production issues, and design long-term preventive solutions.
Document infrastructure standards and advocate best practices across the engineering organization.
Requirements: Technical Qualifications
5+ years operating cloud infrastructure in production (GCP and/or AWS strongly preferred).
Expert-level understanding of Terraform, infrastructure automation, and GitOps workflows.
Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and container-based workloads.
Proficiency in Go or Python, with experience building reliable tooling and integrations.
Deep understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, VPNs, DNS, routing, and proxies (e.g., Istio, NGINX).
Familiarity with service meshes, workload identity, and zero-trust architecture is a plus.
Experience deploying and scaling observability stacks (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
Background in event-driven systems, messaging platforms (e.g., Kafka) and data infra (BigQuery, Bigtable, Solr, Elasticsearch).
