Job Responsibilities:
Maintain financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures, and drive process improvements as required.
Manage interactions with freight forwarders and customs authorities.
Oversee customer accounts, including reconciliations, collections, and related-party transactions.
Issue invoices and receipts, and monitor multi-currency payments.
Collaborate effectively with multiple internal departments and subsidiaries.
Monitor revenue records, analyze accounts, and accurately record journal entries.
This is a 7-month maternity leave replacement position with the possibility of a permanent role.
Hybrid work model- up to two days WFH per week (excluding month-end closing periods).
Requirements: Requirements:
Relevant education is required: Bookkeeper Level 3 or a Bachelors degree in Economics / Business Administration with specialization in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 2 years proven experience in bookkeeping mandatory.
Excellent command of English (spoken, written, and reading).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
Proactive, service-oriented, with initiative and a can-do attitude.
High work ethic, sense of responsibility, and willingness to work overtime during month-end closings.
Full-time position with flexibility for additional hours as needed.
