abra R&D is looking for a strong QA Automation Embedded Engineer to join our team! A QA Embedded Engineer with 3 years of experience will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge networking devices. This role involves working closely with development teams to test embedded software, identify bugs, and ensure compliance with industry networking standards and specifications. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for networking systems.
* Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
* Integrating the solutions into CI/CD for automated testing.
* Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using appropriate tools.
* Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
* Conduct performance, functionality, and reliability testing.
* Utilize various networking testing tools and scripts.
* Set up and maintain test environments.
* Work closely with software and hardware developers to understand project requirements and design test strategies.
* Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress and results.
Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is a strong advantage.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA testing for networking systems.
* Proficiency in BASH and Python for scripting and automation.
* Familiarity with programming languages and relevant build systems – C/C++, Go.
* Experience with embedded systems running Linux.
* In-depth understanding of networking and protocols, strong advantage for SNMP, gRPC, gNMI.
* Experience with YANG models and OpenConfig standards is a strong advantage.
* Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Selenium).
* Good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential points of failure.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Ability to document test plans, cases, and results clearly and comprehensively.
* Ability to work effectively in a multi-national team environment.
