What You’ll Do
* Lead development of complex web and e-commerce systems and digital platforms (frontend and backend)
* Design scalable backend architecture, APIs, and integrations - Turn complex designs into fully functional, scalable Shopify and Craft CMS solutions
* deeply familiar with AI tools and uses them as part of your everyday workflow — from coding and refactoring to automation and solution design
* Identify practical opportunities to implement AI features in a way that’s stable, secure, and scalable
* Turn product and design requirements into clean, production-ready code
* Write clean, high-quality code that performs well and scales smoothly
* Set up and maintain smart testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes
* Work closely with Project Managers, Customer Success, Webmasters, leadership and other developers to keep projects moving forward
* Mentor and support team members and contribute to improving development practices
* Look for better, smarter ways to do things — whether that’s improving code structure, tools, or overall architecture
Requirements: ?What We’re Looking For
* 3+ years of solid Full-Stack development experience (React, Node.js, JavaScript, modern backend systems) - MUST
* Strong backend and system design skills (Express, and Next.js, including SSR)— you’re comfortable thinking beyond just features
* Experience building APIs, SDKs, and third-party integrations
* Hands-on experience using AI tools in your development workflow (LLMs, code assistants, AI APIs, automation tools, etc.) - MUST
* Experience with Shopify Liquid, plus working knowledge of PHP and Laravel
* Good judgment — you know when AI helps, when it doesn’t, and how to apply it responsibly
* Experience building and maintaining production systems - Comfort with CI/CD, deployments, and modern development environments
* A strong architectural mindset — someone who sees the bigger picture, not just the task at hand
* Experience supporting or mentoring other developers
* Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have Familiarity with the e-commerce ecosystem Familiarity with more advanced AI patterns (RAG, embeddings, vector DBs) Experience improving internal development workflows or tooling
