We are looking for an Atlassian Platform Administrator to join our HR & Mobile Applications Team as a temporary 1 year maternity leave (MLA) replacement, who has a passion for collaboration tools, process optimization, and IT service management, who has a desire to streamline workflows, improve user experience, and ensure the successful implementation and management of Atlassian tools like Jira, Jira Service Desk, and Confluence.
We use an interesting and mixed technology stack: Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence (Wiki), and integrations with various internal systems and third-party tools.

In this position you will use your expertise in leading IT projects, managing stakeholder expectations, and configuring Atlassian tools, and will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of Jira-based workflows, manage Jira Service Desk projects, maintain documentation in Wiki, and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities
Design, build and manage our Atlassian ecosystem in order to optimize project management, service delivery, and internal collaboration across teams.
Get experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, develop custom workflows, automations, and integrations, and have a great opportunity to grow and create impact.
Work with product managers, business stakeholders, and other teams at Check Point to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve the performance, usability, and scalability of the Atlassian tools to meet evolving business needs.

Which department will you join?
The Cloud team of the Development Infrastructure (DI) department is responsible for our company's Cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud. We develop mainly in Python, and some Golang. We are developing highly efficient systems for the company, running on up to 500K CPUs, processing hundreds of Petabytes of data monthly collected from all over the world. We also provide networking, security, governance, support, and guidance for all of our company's diverse uses of AWS across tens of AWS accounts, including ML Training and AWS China. 
What will your job look like?
Analyze, optimize, and implement cost optimization actions over different cloud services
Implement and manage automated tools to help identify cost trends and anomalies
Create financial and usage dashboards
Work with our technical teams to design and implement new services in the most cost-efficient way
Work with the financial teams on budget, forecast, and expenses reports
Work closely with our finance and legal departments to negotiate cost terms and contracts.
