Required Professional Services Project Manager
The Professional Services Project Manager leads the delivery of highly customized, customer-specific IoT engagements built around unique Use-Cases, Operational workflows, and data outcomes. Unlike templated implementations, Our Professional Services projects are bespoke by design and require strong problem-solving, adaptability, and cross-functional orchestration.
This role owns end-to-end delivery across custom event definition, hardware deployment, data activation, and operational validation, ensuring each engagement is tailored to the customers environment, processes, and business objectives.
Responsibilities
Custom PS Delivery & Roadmap Execution:
Own customer delivery from post-sales handoff through project close and transition to Solutions/Delivery
Lead non-templated Professional Services engagements where each customers environment, workflows, and success criteria are unique.
Execute projects aligned to the PS Roadmap: Discovery → Custom Event Design → Operational Validation → Transition to Solutions → Deployment at Scale
Translate ambiguous customer requirements into structured project plans and measurable milestones.
Custom Event & Solution Orchestration:
Partner with Engineering to define customer-specific event logic and data flows
Align hardware placement, gateway strategy, and cloud configuration to custom events.
Customer & Stakeholder Leadership:
Serve as the Customer-facing lead on PS projects.
Manage expectations in evolving scope environments
Communicate risks, trade-offs, and progress clearly.
Cross-Functional & Partner Coordination:
Coordinate delivery across Professional Services, Engineering (Cloud, Data), and Product teams
Manage dependencies with external partners and CS Executives.
Ensure clean handoffs between Sales, PS, and Solution/Delivery.
Hardware & Physical Environment Management:
Oversee deployment of our Pixels and Gateways in customer-specific environments
Manage risks related to RF conditions, layouts, materials, and operational constraints
Ensure physical deployment supports defined custom events
Governance, Change & Financial Control
Manage SOW-based engagements with evolving scope
Lead change management and scope control
Track delivery metrics including margin, utilization, and customer satisfaction

Requirements: 5-9+ years managing custom Professional Services or technical delivery projects
Experience delivering non-templated solutions in IoT, hardware-enabled SaaS, or systems integration
Strong ability to manage ambiguity and iterative delivery
Experience managing SOW-based engagements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with event-driven architecture or sensor-based systems
Experience in Technological Project Management
Background in supply chain, logistics, retail, or manufacturing.
