We are seeking a passionate and experienced software development team leader eager to lead our multidisciplinary GenAI team, which includes back-end engineers, GenAI specialists, and front-end/full-stack developers. Your Impact:
Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team (Backend, GenAI, Frontend/Fullstack developers).
Directly manage team members, facilitating effective prioritization, risk management, and technical decision-making.
Provide hands-on leadership, contributing actively to technical solutions and coding (partial hands-on).
Architect, design, and oversee the development of innovative Generative AI backend systems.
Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, Frontend and Data Science teams to align priorities, ensure efficient development cycles, and achieve cross-functional objectives.
Establish and refine team processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize performance, quality, and stability.
Support team members' professional growth through coaching, mentoring, and continuous feedback.
Act as the primary problem solver and technical resource for the team.
Were based in Tel Aviv, 5 minutes from Hashalom train station, and Yehudit light train station, and we have our own parking lot. We work in a hybrid mode, with flexible working hours.
Requirements: Your Qualities:
8+ years of experience developing scalable backend systems, preferably SaaS-based and delivering features/products that involve ML/AI.
4+ years experience leading, mentoring, and managing development teams, preferably multidisciplinary teams/projects that include Data Scientists
Strong hands-on technical expertise, with experience in modern cloud environments (GCP/Azure/AWS).
Familiarity with Python, GO, or similar backend development languages.
Experience or familiarity with AI/GenAI methodologies and technologies such as LLM frameworks, embeddings, vector databases, and MLOps practices (preferred, not mandatory).
Knowledge of microservices architecture and modern cloud deployment strategies (Kubernetes, Docker, serverless architectures).
Experience collaborating closely with DevOps and Data Science teams.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment, adapting quickly to changes.
