About you:
As we continue to scale, we are looking for an experienced proactive, sharp, and passionate Privacy Counsel to join our legal team.
You will work closely with the legal team & various company stakeholders leading the global privacy & data protection aspects, ensuring compliance with the various global regulations (GDPR, CCPA and others) while also supporting the Products and AI teams. This role requires a combination of great legal knowledge, tech savvy and an in house approach!.

Work directly with our various departments;
Support a wide variety of legal matters throughout the different departments, focusing on privacy, product & AI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal processes with broader organizational goals
Identify, evaluate, and implement legal tech solutions to improve case and document management, e-discovery, and contract analysis
Manage legal projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and best practices.

Law degree from a top academic institute
Certified Lawyer with an active bar membership
7+ years of relevant legal experience as a privacy tech lawyer in a legal department of a high-tech company or in the privacy department of a major law firm
Deep expertise in data protection and privacy regulations (GDPR, US privacy etc.) and practical experience implementing compliance frameworks
Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data governance considerations
Exceptional analytical abilities, capable of interpreting complex legal, technical, and regulatory information and providing actionable, business-focused advice
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters simultaneously while balancing legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
Flexibility to work across time zones and manage variable hours as needed
Ability to work effectively in remote and cross-functional environments
Fluent English (both written and verbal).
