We seek an experienced and highly skilled hands-on R&D Director to join our dynamic and innovative software development team. What You Will be Doing
Lead the architectural design and decision-making process in the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Act as a full team member in hands-on coding
Showcase deep expertise in Node.js, using it to build efficient, secure, and scalable server-side applications, APIs, and services
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Node.js and related technologies, evaluating and integrating new tools and frameworks where appropriate
Ensure the security of React / Node.js applications and implement measures to protect against potential vulnerabilities.
Manage R&D resources and timelines effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within constraints
Collaborate effectively with cross-function teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to drive successful project outcomes
Optimize the performance and scalability of Node.js applications, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions for improved efficiency

As an R&D Team Lead you will be managing the R&D Team, reporting to the Chief Product Officer.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead and guide the technical aspects of our software development projects. You will contribute to architectural development and design efforts, collaborating with the team to design scalable, robust, and maintainable software systems.
Youll be very hands on and deeply involved in programming tasks, utilizing your expertise to craft efficient and effective solutions to complex problems. Additionally, youll play a crucial role in leading and supporting your colleagues by providing assistance with code reviews, offering insights and suggestions to improve code quality, readability, and performance. Overall, your contributions will be essential in driving the success of our projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Our Payment and Billing Engineering Team is crucial to our global operations.
This team manages vital systems such as processing user subscriptions, entitlements, and inter-user transactions.
Lead the ownership and continuous enhancement of critical distributed system features, ensuring robust performance, scalability, and reliability in a mission-critical environment
Collaborate with multiple stakeholder teams in the company such as dev teams, marketing, finance & customer support
Designing and building automations for infrastructure, deployments and monitoring.
Writing clean, maintainable and testable code, and inspiring others to do the same.
Identifying and implementing software engineering best practices.
Brainstorming feature design, system architecture improvements and troubleshooting.
