Head of Algorithm Engineering - 3D Vision Robotics contributor, with full ownership of the algorithmic domain, and will recruit and build the algorithms team-hiring two engineers during the coming year, with additional team growth planned for the following year.
This position combines deep, hands-on algorithm development with technical leadership. You will own core algorithmic R D and play a central role in shaping the companys technology roadmap in the areas of 3D vision and robotics.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize advanced algorithms with a strong hands-on focus
Lead innovation in 3D vision, robotics, and multi-view geometry
Own core algorithmic R D deliverables and architecture
Build, mentor, and lead the algorithms team, starting with two hires in the coming year
Requirements: Requirements
5-10+ years of experience in computer vision and algorithm development
Proven experience developing AI-based vision systems in production environments
Strong background in accuracy-driven applications (measurement, classification, alignment, detection)
Hands-on experience with deep learning for vision (CNNs, Transformers, segmentation, detection)
Experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
Strong Python skills; C ++ is an advantage
Solid foundation in classical image processing (geometry, calibration, filtering, morphology)
Experience taking algorithms from research into production
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Nice to Have
Experience working on complex real-world vision systems
Exposure to cameras, optics, lighting, and real-world system constraints
Experience with Edge AI, Real-Time systems, or MLOps
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engin
