Working as a bridge between Data Science and Engineering, you will collaborate across various teams, supporting both data science and engineering as well as liaising with architecture and product management to help shape the Impact AI roadmap and accelerate our value to our customers.
Job Description

Data Extraction and Pre-processing: Normalizing and pre-processing data, creating datasets, organizing outcomes, documenting data-quality checks.
Model Evaluation, Implementation & Maintenance: Evaluating, selecting, and implementing models locally, setting up automated drift / performance monitoring in production.
Solution Design: Contribute to solution diagrams.
Education and Training: Educating engineers on data and model management best practices through individual and team sessions.
Presentation and Documentation: Preparing and presenting explanatory documents and presentations to PMs and relevant internal customers .
Production Deployment of Models: Bringing Python models to production, paying attention to non-functional requirements such as predictive accuracy, robustness, security, performance, and storage.
Requirements: To be successful in this role you have:
Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analysing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
3-5 years experience in industry, working in a data related role where more than 50% of time spent actively working in data
Strong Data Literacy: Deep understanding of data, including data extraction, normalization, preprocessing, and evaluation as well as event streaming and data pipelines. Industry experience of working with big data technologies and ELT.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Python, SQL and JavaScript is essential, as the role involves creating datasets, mapping and adjusting code, migrating proof of concept code (Python) into production (JavaScript) as well as performing exploratory data analysis (EDA).
Preference for someone who has either of below:
a BSc or BEng in Computer Science or Software Engineering and a Masters in AI or Data related.
AI major in their Bachelors degree and additional learning in Data or AI - could be certified or college.
The role requires being in the office a minimum of two days per week and working with teams across different regions.
