We are looking for a seasoned DevOps & SRE Architect to lead our infrastructure transformation as we migrate from on-prem datacenter to a modern cloud environment. This is a strategic and hands-on role where youll drive architectural decisions, design future-ready systems, and guide teams through this critical evolution.
What youll do:
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, DevOps, SRE and product teams to understand existing systems, technical constraints, and infrastructure needs.
Design and Build Cloud Architecture: Create scalable, secure, and high-performing architecture, tailored to evolving business and technical needs.
Lead the Cloud Migration: Develop and execute a phased plan to move infrastructure and applications to the cloud.
Resolve Infrastructure Challenges: Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability.
Educate and Mentor Teams: Lead cloud enablement initiatives, mentor engineers and DevOps staff on cloud-native technologies, and promote modern infrastructure best practices.
Define and Enforce Best Practices: Establish standards for cloud governance, security, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
Requirements: Proven, hands-on experience with AWS (minimum of 4 years is a must). GCP experience is a strong bonus.
Proven, hands-on experience with designing and implementing designing a DR strategy in a cloud environment.
Demonstrable experience in planning and executing data center to cloud migrations.
In-depth knowledge and practical experience with database technologies (SQL DB, MongoDB, PostgresDB) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring. Infrastructure & Architecture: Strong understanding of infrastructure design, cloud networking, security, scalability, and high availability.
Experience with planning and deploying FinOps tools
