We are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong focus on testing complex systems to join our team. This role is critical for validating both web applications and infrastructure and ensuring seamless integration across multiple platforms while maintaining high-quality products.
In this position, you will execute comprehensive testing strategies that prioritize back-end functionality and API validation. You will validate integrations with third-party systems to ensure efficient data flow and enhance the quality of our integrated systems.
Develop Test Plans: Create and maintain comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough testing coverage
Collaborate with Teams: Work with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and deliver high-quality features
Utilize Testing Tools: Use tools like Postman, Swagger, PyTest, API interactions, and backend responses
Conduct Cloud Testing: Test and validate infrastructure components in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
Requirements: Youll do it using:
3+ years of Proven experience in manual QA testing for complex systems
Deep understanding of infrastructure testing methodologies
Familiarity with testing integrations with third-party services and APIs by using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
Strong understanding of QA processes, test case design, and defect tracking tools
English proficiency (written and verbal)
Background in test automation using Python
Background with relational databases and SQL
Experience working with Jira
Proven ability to break down requirements into scenarios
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, API, performance, and scalability)
Background with cloude bases applications - an advantage
Knowledge of performance testing and monitoring tools - an advantage
Experience in the insurance or banking industries - an advantage
Ability to interpret logs and identify essential information - an advantage
