We are seeking an experienced and strategic FinOps Team Lead to own and scale our Cloud Financial Operations practice across multiple business units and cloud environments. You will lead day‑to‑day cloud financial operations, driving cost optimization, financial accountability, and operational efficiency, while partnering closely with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and product teams to ensure cloud investments deliver maximum business value.

Team Leadership & Development:
o Manage and mentor a team of FinOps professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
o Define roles, responsibilities, and career development plans for team members.
Optimization & Task Management:
o Oversee and prioritize optimization initiatives across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
o Ensure timely execution and tracking of cost-saving projects and operational improvements.
Planning & Governance:
o Build and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual work plans aligned with organizational goals.
o Establish governance frameworks for FinOps processes and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Reporting & Transparency:
o Provide clear visibility into savings achieved, task status, and ROI of optimization efforts.
o Develop dashboards and reports for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with technical teams, finance, procurement, and executive leadership to align priorities and drive results.
o Act as the primary liaison between cloud service owners and financial stakeholders.
o Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
POC Leadership & Tool Evaluation:
o Lead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives for new FinOps tools and technologies.
o Define KPIs for POCs and evaluate candidates for enterprise-wide adoption.
Process & ROI Communication:
o Clearly articulate the value and ROI of FinOps initiatives to stakeholders.
o Promote FinOps best practices across the organization.
Requirements: 3+ years of experience in cloud financial management, FinOps, or related roles -Must.
Deep understanding of cloud service structures, pricing models, and cost drivers across AWS, Azure, and GCP -Must.
Certification in one of the cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) -Must. FinOps Foundation certified - an advantage
Proven track record of leading teams and delivering measurable cost savings in large-scale environments -Must.
Bachelors degree in finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field (masters preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences (technical, financial, executive).
Strategic thinking with the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for cloud environments - advantage.
Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for cost optimization.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with multiple priorities.
