About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Inspector for Civil Works to join our project team in Ivory Coast.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the monitoring and supervision of civil works, with a strong focus on reinforced concrete and rebar installation, ensuring full compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
This is a site-based position with extended on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and inspection of civil works execution
Monitoring reinforced concrete works (foundations, slabs, beams, columns, walls)
Inspection of reinforcement works: cutting, bending, placement, anchorage, laps
Oversight of formwork and grounding installation
Quality control and compliance with drawings and specifications
Coordination with subcontractors and testing laboratories
Preparation of:
Daily & weekly site reports
Non-conformance reports (NCRs)
Progress tracking & photographic documentation
Requirements: Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction monitoring and supervision
Hands-on experience in reinforced concrete works
Strong knowledge of:
Concrete production, additives, pouring, compaction, curing & testing
Reading and interpreting construction drawings and bar bending schedules
Quality control procedures and inspection checklists
Familiarity with:
International standards (ACI, Eurocodes, BS, ASTM or equivalent)
HSE requirements on construction sites
