We are looking for a highly skilled Real-Time C++ Engineer who embodies ambition and positivity - someone who takes ownership of complex, performance-critical problems and collaborates effectively with remote and on-site teams to meet and exceed our objectives and fulfill the evolving needs of our expanding customer base.
The Real-Time C++ component is at the core of our Quantum Orchestration Platform - it serves as the driver for the Pulse Processing Unit (PPU), our proprietary VLSI-based engine. This component is responsible for preparing, loading, and launching the execution of quantum-computing workloads, operating at extreme performance levels to maximize hardware utilization and minimize software overhead.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the real-time C++ layer that drives the Pulse Processing Unit (PPU), our proprietary VLSI-based processor.
Design and implement high-performance software for preparing, loading, and launching quantum-computing workloads with minimal latency and maximal hardware utilization.
Drive relentless optimization of the software stack to minimize SW overhead in the critical path, ensuring the hardware operates at peak throughput.
Collaborate closely with VLSI, compiler, and architecture teams to ensure seamless software-hardware integration across the quantum control stack.
Contribute hands-on to the codebase - designing, implementing, reviewing, debugging, and profiling performance-critical code paths.
Uphold the team's engineering standards, code quality practices, and performance benchmarking methodologies, and help raise the bar over time.
Participate in technical planning and roadmap discussions, aligning your work with product and customer needs.

As a Staff Embedded Firmware Engineer for High-Speed DSP, you will architect and define the low-level firmware and control loops powering the world's most advanced physical-layer communications silicon. Sitting at the critical intersection of digital signal processing (DSP), hardware-software co-design, and real-time systems, you will lead the development of adaptive algorithms, error correction (FEC), and link-telemetry frameworks. Your work will directly bridge the gap between high-performance hardware pipelines and our planetary-scale AI infrastructure, transforming complex communication systems theory into reliable, real-time silicon execution.
Responsibilities
Define the long-term firmware roadmap and hardware-software partitioning for physical-layer interfaces, determining the optimal balance between hardware-fixed logic and programmable firmwarm.
Architect advanced "in-situ" monitoring systems and firmware-driven diagnostics to track physical-layer link health, Bit Error Rate (BER) trends, and channel quality across millions of ports in real-time.
Design, model, and implement bare-metal or RTOS firmware to control high-speed transceivers, managing real-time adaptive loops, clock and data recovery (CDR), and physical-layer calibration.
Partner with TPU Systems, Networking Software, and High-Performance Computing (HPC) teams to ensure silicon firmware integrates seamlessly with global cluster management and collective communication frameworks.
Identify and de-risk hardware-software interface bottlenecks (e.g., register maps, driver latencies, and boot-up sequencing) that impact our AI infrastructure.

The Embedded control teams develop SW products that create the basic building blocks of the SolarEdge system and deal with various fields - power conversion algorithmic, communication algorithmic, optimizations, rt problems on different platforms - DSPs, Companys ASIC and digital controlled power converters for photo-voltaic power systems. Our technological challenges are taking part in the following fields: power electronics, digital close loop control and Digital Signal Processing algorithms implemented on companys microprocessors. By joining us, youll have the chance to develop unique products from concept level to mass production, while working with advanced simulation and developing tools.
What you will be doing:
* Learning the different aspects of our products by developing features in various areas and disciplines - power electronics, control theory, DSP and communication over different platforms.
* Developing on various micro-controllers and dealing with various rt constraints.
* Ownership of a project/product from end to end- from concept and simulation, through development and integration and field deployment.
* Building complex simulations integrating SW and HW.
