We are seeking a highly skilled Cables & Wiring Engineer to design and implement advanced wiring solutions for our communication systems. This role requires a meticulous professional with extensive knowledge in cable engineering and a passion for innovation.
Design and develop cable and wiring systems for communication equipment.
Conduct simulations and testing to ensure system integrity and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wiring solutions into products.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues in existing wiring systems.
Prepare technical documentation and specifications for wiring designs.
Responsibilites:
Review, release, and maintain cable and harness documentation, including drawings, BOMs, wiring data, connector lists, assembly instructions, and inspection requirements.
Provide technical support to production, integration teams, subcontractors, and suppliers during manufacturing, assembly, inspection, testing, and acceptance activities.
Review drawings and production documentation for completeness, manufacturability, testability, and alignment with approved engineering data.
Support supplier clarifications, production feedback, alternative component reviews, FAI activities, and implementation of approved engineering changes.
Investigate and resolve nonconformities, supplier deviations, production issues, and field findings related to cables, connectors, shielding, grounding, routing, labeling, and workmanship.
Work closely with engineering, quality, procurement, production, suppliers, and configuration management to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cable and wiring engineering.
Proficient in CAD software and electrical design tools.
Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
