We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to own the vision, architecture, and evolution of our design system across our iOS and Android products. This is a Lead-level IC role. You'll set the direction and standards for our visual and interaction language, build the tooling and pipelines that let our product teams move fast without breaking consistency, and step up to lead select high-impact product initiatives that go beyond the system.
You bring strong product design instincts alongside systems expertise. You're comfortable going from component governance to IA strategy in the same week. And you use AI as a multiplier, not a novelty: you've built design-to-code pipelines, automated design ops workflows, and shipped production-ready output through AI tooling.
This role sits inside a high-trust design team. Precision and craft matter here. So does moving fast.
Responsibilities:
Own the design system end-to-end: visual language (typography, color, iconography), component architecture, interaction patterns, documentation, and contribution model.
Build and maintain design-to-code pipelines that reduce friction between design and engineering, automate repetitive workflows, and let components ship with higher fidelity and less overhead.
Conduct ongoing UI & Design System audits across live mobile products to identify UI debt, visual inconsistencies, and opportunities to elevate the overall quality.
Champion accessibility and inclusive design across every component and pattern, from contrast ratios to assistive technology behavior.
Lead cross-functional design initiatives beyond the system, including product experience work on IA, navigation, and core product strategy.
Partner closely with engineering, product, and brand to drive system adoption, resolve cross-team pattern conflicts, prioritize initiatives, and ensure technical feasibility and component quality in production.
Evangelize and scale the design system: present direction, establish rituals/processes, facilitate contribution, and build the culture and team enablement that keeps it alive as the product scales.
Requirements: 8+ years in product design, interaction design, information architecture, or systems design, with deep experience launching native mobile products (iOS and Android).
A strong portfolio that demonstrates design systems you built, maintained, or significantly elevated, with clear evidence of impact at scale.
Hands-on AI fluency: you've used AI tools/agents to automate workflows, accelerate documentation, build design-to-code pipelines, or generate production-ready components-not just for quick Figma work.
Strong product design range & systems strategy: you can lead IA and experience strategy work on complex initiatives while connecting day-to-day decisions to broader system strategy.
Practical accessibility mastery: WCAG, contrast, assistive technology patterns, inclusive design, applied in real shipped products.
Sharp communication and cross-functional instincts: highly organized, strong alignment skills across engineering, product, and brand, with high standards for thorough and maintained documentation.
This position is open to all candidates.
