If youre excited about working with leading experts, modern technologies, and complex, high-impact projects, we offer an environment where you can grow and make a real impact 🚀
We already holds a leading position in modern security: CSPM, CWP, CNAPP, DevSecOps, and security for GenAI. The next expansion is detection and response, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and SOAR, consolidating around unified platforms, with the goal of leading that category in Israel too.
The role: own technical and market presence across EDR/XDR, SIEM, and SOAR, from evangelism and thought leadership through to customer engagements and won deals.
Reports directly to the CTO. This is a new practice built from zero, not a slot in an established team.
Responsibilities
Build Detection & Response practice around EDR/XDR, SIEM, SOAR, and security data lake architectures, starting from nothing
Define and run the full presales cycle, from demos and POC scoping through to a signed architecture
Establish public voice in the category through conferences, meetups, and technical content
Feed field intelligence back to the CTO office to shape portfolio and services decisions
Create the reference accounts that make a leading cybersecurity partner in Israel
Requirements:
Experience designing end-to-end detection and response architectures.
8-12 years including hands-on SOC work (analyst, incident response, or detection engineering).
Hands-on experience with at least one product in each category:
SIEM: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or Google SecOps
SOAR: Splunk SOAR, Tines, Torq, or Swimlane
EDR/XDR: CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or Trend Vision One
Advantage:
Experience producing solution designs or architecture documentation (HLD, sizing, integration approach).
A track record of running presales cycles end to end, at a security vendor, MSSP or integrator.
Public speaking, writing, or community presence in security.
Palo Alto certifications: PCNSE, Cortex XSIAM specialist tracks.
Hands-on experience with a unified SecOps platform: CrowdStrike Falcon platform, SentinelOne Singularity platform, or Microsoft Unified SecOps
This position is open to all candidates.

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo
Job Type: Full Time
Were looking for Principal Cloud Security Researcher with a strong security background to join our innovative Research team.

EDR protects the endpoint. our company protects everything else, anticipating and disrupting active attacks across the modern stack and stopping them before they reach the business.

our company is the leader in Zero-Impact Breach Prevention, delivered through Agentic Runtime Security for the modern infrastructure - cloud, SaaS, identity, and AI. By delivering the runtime detection and response that security teams already rely on for endpoints, extended to the infrastructure endpoint tools cant see, our company provides Zero-Impact Breach Prevention, in runtime.

The Role

We're looking for a Principal Cloud Security Researcher to serve as a senior technical leader within our Research team. This is a high-impact individual contributor role -- you won't manage people, but you'll shape the direction of our entire research function, mentor researchers, and act as a force multiplier across the organization.

You'll be the person who takes a vague threat signal and turns it into a detection strategy, a published finding, or a product capability. You'll operate as a trusted deputy to the research team lead, owning the most complex and ambiguous research challenges while raising the technical bar for the team.

What You'll Do

Drive Groundbreaking Research

Own and drive our most critical research initiatives end-to-end - from initial threat hypothesis through detection logic, product integration, and external publication.
Set the technical direction for cloud threat research across AWS, Azure, and GCP, identifying emerging attack surfaces and novel techniques before they become mainstream threats.
Investigate real-world cloud and SaaS security incidents, dissecting attacker tradecraft and extracting insights that evolve our detection capabilities.
Pioneer new forensic investigation techniques and detection methodologies for cloud-native and SaaS environments - pushing the state of the art, not just following it.
Be a Voice in the Community

Represent our company as a thought leader through high-quality research publications, conference presentations (BlackHat, DEF CON, RSA, fwd:cloudsec, and similar venues), and open-source contributions.
Build and maintain our reputation as a research-driven company that advances the field - not just a vendor with a blog.
Engage with the broader security research community, fostering relationships and collaborative knowledge-sharing.
Shape the Product

Bridge research and product - translate threat findings into actionable product requirements, working closely with engineering and product teams to ensure our CDR platform stays ahead of evolving threats.
Design and develop advanced detection algorithms that directly feed into our platform, closing the gap between research insight and customer protection.
Elevate the Team

Act as the team's go-to technical authority. When researchers hit a wall on complex cloud attack chains, IAM edge cases, or detection gaps - you're who they turn to.
Mentor and grow other researchers through research reviews, pair investigations, code reviews, and by setting quality standards and methodology best practices.
Influence technical decisions org-wide - contributing to architecture, tooling, and strategic research priorities.
Step in as the research team lead's deputy when needed - driving prioritization, representing research cross-functionally, and ensuring continuity.
Requirements:
8+ years in security research, threat research, or closely related fields (offensive security, detection engineering, incident response, cloud security engineering). Fewer years are fine if your depth and track record are exceptional.
Deep multi-cloud expertise - strong hands-on experience across at least two of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), with working knowledge of the third.
This position is open to all candidates.

We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the deep technical partner for our largest and most strategic accounts. You'll be working closely with our dev, product, and support teams, while building strong, trust-based relationships with customers' security engineers and executives alike. This is a hands-on, highly technical role for someone who can go deep into a customer's environment, infrastructure, and tech stack, and who's comfortable both in the weeds with engineers and in the room with executives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for our largest and most strategic accounts
Build deep, trust-based relationships with customers security engineers, platform teams, and CISOs by developing a thorough understanding of their workflows, teams, infrastructure, and tech stack
Own complex deployments end to end, from architecture design through rollout across large production estates
Build and ship inside the customers environment - custom integrations, automation, and tooling that close the gap between what Oligo does out of the box and what the customer actually needs
Author and tune runtime policies for customer-specific workloads, traffic patterns, and risk tolerance
Design and deliver integrations into customer SIEM, SOAR, data lake, and CI/CD pipelines
Debug at the systems level - sensor behavior, performance overhead, kernel and runtime interactions - and drive root cause together with R&D
Support deployments in regulated and air-gapped environments, including FedRAMP-authorized
Travel to customer sites to strengthen relationships and support technical initiatives on the ground
Work hand-in-hand with our dev, product, and support teams in Israel to advocate for customer needs and drive resolution of technical issues
Turn repeat field work into product - feed reusable deployment patterns, tooling, and reference architectures back to R&D so the next deployment is faster than the last
Translate deep technical detail into business impact for executive stakeholders
Proactively identify risks and opportunities within accounts, partnering with Customer Success and Sales on account strategy
דרישות:
Solid, hands-on background in cybersecurity, with specific experience in runtime security
Deep understanding of how workloads run across container runtimes (Docker, containerd, Podman), orchestrated environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift), and non-containerized hosts (VMs, bare metal) - enough to independently customize, deploy, test, and troubleshoot Oligos solution in each
Strong Linux fundamentals - processes, namespaces, cgroups, syscalls - and familiarity with eBPF or other kernel-level instrumentation
Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or Bash, and comfort reading code in customer application stacks such as Java, Node.js, Python, or Go
Hands-on experience with deployment and GitOps tooling (Helm, ArgoCD, FluxCD) and with Kubernetes distributions such as OpenShift, EKS, GKE, and AKS
Strong SQL skills and comfort analyzing dense datasets across logs, metrics, and relational databases
Experience with sensor-based security tooling and CADR (Cloud Application Detection and Response)
Comfort debugging live production systems under pressure, without disrupting them
Experience in a customer-facing technical role at a cybersecurity company - Forward Deployed Engineer, TAM, Solutions Engineer, or similar - or equivalent hands-on engineering experience with direct customer exposure
Experience working with enterprise or large-scale customer environments, including global organizations
Proven ability to build trust and credibility with technical stakeholders, alongside strong executive communication skills - comfortable presenting to and engaging with senior leadership
Based in Israel, ideally near our technical teams (dev, product, support), with willingness to travel to customer sites and to overlap with US working hours as needed
Excellent verbal and writ המשרה מיועדת לנשים ולגברים כאחד.
