Join a leading defense technology company and take a key role as a Product Engineering Manager within a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting the development and ongoing improvement of advanced, life-saving radar systems. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead product engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, from New Product Introduction (NPI) to sustaining engineering.
* Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of Product Engineers, driving technical excellence and team performance.
* Drive the successful transfer of products from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.
* Provide ongoing engineering support to production lines and subcontractors.
* Lead root cause analysis, failure investigations, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Manage engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and ensure accurate product documentation.
* Collaborate closely with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, System Engineering, Integration & Test, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Management teams.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, manufacturability, yield, and cost reduction.
* Support product qualification, manufacturing readiness, and configuration management activities.
* Act as the primary engineering focal point for sustaining products, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements: * B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
* At least 5 years of experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, or a similar engineering role.
* At least 2 years of proven managerial experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams.
* Experience with complex electronic assemblies, PCBAs, and multidisciplinary systems.
* Proven experience transferring products from R&D to manufacturing.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
* Experience working in a high-tech manufacturing environment; defense industry experience is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluent English, both written and spoken. Desired Skills:
