we are looking for a Data Science Team Lead.
The Data Science department plays a pivotal role in our company, generating value by developing algorithms and analytical production-grade solutions. We leverage advanced techniques and algorithms to extract maximum value from data of all shapes and sizes, including classification models, NLP, anomaly detection, graph theory, deep learning, and more.
Our models and algorithms are integrated into the critical path of product, helping to make thousands of decisions per second in real-time. All the capabilities we develop must meet production-grade requirements in both analytical and engineering standards.
As the Team Lead of a Data Science team, you will manage critical analytical initiatives for our suite of products, shaping the team's direction and focus. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers to influence the future of our product offerings and ensure alignment with company goals. You will need a holistic view of challenges and a keen understanding of the underlying goals of the department and company. In this role, you will lead the team, oversee their professional development, build effective collaborations with other departments, and bring measurable value to product through your team's efforts.

The Data Group builds and maintains the core data assets that power our products, from our Company and Contact databases to our Connect and Recommendation systems. The Data Tech Lead sits at the forefront of that mission, leading engineering innovation that directly shapes the experience of our growing user base and drives the evolution of intelligent data services.

This role is based in Tel Aviv. We work in a hybrid model, with 3 days a week in the office.

Your impact and responsibilities:

Leading the design and development of scalable, high-performance data workflows, including both batch pipelines and real-time data products.
Defining, implementing, and enforcing engineering best practices related to code quality, testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and documentation.
Mentoring, supporting, and growing a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
Identifying opportunities to create new data assets and features that expand product capabilities and value proposition.
Driving architectural decision-making in areas of data modeling, storage solutions, and compute resources within cloud environments such as Databricks and Snowflake.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders- including Product, DevOps, and R&D - to ensure effective delivery and platform stability.

Define data requirements, metrics, and success criteria for new initiatives, including identifying gaps in existing data.
Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers to design scalable data pipelines, data models, and semantic layers that support analytics, experimentation, and advanced modeling.
Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, scalability, data maturity, and clarity of success metrics.
Business Analytics, Data Science & AI-Driven Marketing Optimization
Define and own the business logic behind marketing KPIs, ensuring clear, consistent, and trusted metrics across teams.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand what needs to be measured, why and how.
