We are seeking a skilled and motivated Practical Engineer (Electronics/Electrical) or Electronics Technician to join our Quality & Reliability team, specializing in hands?on failure analysis, product investigation, and testing. The ideal candidate will have solid practical experience working with electronic circuits, performing measurements, and supporting troubleshooting activities at both the board and system level. This role involves conducting detailed failure analysis, assisting in root?cause investigations, and performing experiments and tests to recreate issues and identify underlying problems. The position plays an important role in improving product reliability and supporting engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Conduct electrical measurements, functional tests, and perform experiments to isolate and characterize fault mechanisms, including building test stations
* Perform hands?on failure analysis on electronic boards, components, and system?level assemblies, including careful removal of potting material to enable component-level inspection and testing without damage
* Document findings, test results, and root cause hypotheses in a clear and structured manner using log files, pictures, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Support Q&R engineers in root cause investigations and the definition of corrective and preventive actions
* Operate lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, LCR meters, and thermal chambers
* Collaborate with teams within Q&R and with teams outside Q&R to resolve technical issues

The Instrument & Control Technician provides skills, experience, and expertise in the operations, maintenance, repair of instrumentation and control devices used to monitor and/or control various types of equipment and facilities. This includes transmitters, signal transmission systems, HMI, control processors, SIS, PCNs F&G systems, DCS/SCADA systems and final control elements.

Key Responsibilities

Leads Inspection, Testing and Preventative Maintenance Routine programs.

Qualifies and performs initial witness of proving and calibration.

Confer with Operations Support and Project Engineers on scopes that impact instrumentation.

Conduct daily maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems within production operations.

Equipment includes but is not limited to: flow, level, pressure, and temperature and vibration transmitters and principles of instrumentation (Including smart protocols such as Hart and fieldbus); digital valve controllers (DVC) and control valves; motor-operated valves (MOVs); control valves & valve positioners.

Pressure switches and relays; fire and gas detection and protective systems.

Maintain accurate records of calibration, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Update P&IDs, loop drawings, and instrumentation databases.

Generate reports on equipment performance and reliability issues.

Understand and adhere to the Management of Change (MoC) processes.

Strictly adhere to Company HSE Policies, Safe Operating Procedures and Control of Work (Permit) systems. Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and risk assessments.

The Junior (Trainee) Instrument Technician supports the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems used in oil and gas operations. This role is designed for entry-level candidates and focuses on developing technical skills while working under close supervision of senior technicians, ensuring safe and reliable plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments such as: pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters; control valves, actuators, and positioners; analyzers and basic control systems; fire and Gas Detection and Protective Systems.

Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs instrumentation and control devices, including measurement sensors, analyzers, transmitters, signal transmission systems, control processors, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), final control elements, safety instrumented systems, process control networks, fire and gas systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS)/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and associated applications. Identifies and implements reliability, integrity, economic, carbon reduction, and safety improvements for above systems.

Support routine preventive and corrective maintenance activities and assist with basic fault finding and troubleshooting of instrumentation loops.

Help with loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning activities. Read and interpret basic P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument data sheets.

Actively participate in on-the-job training and formal technical training.

Demonstrate continuous improvement using technical manuals and associated documentation to gain knowledge and understanding.

The Instrumentation and Electrical Technician supports the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation, control and electrical systems used in oil and gas operations.

The role will be working on a 14/14 rotation on our Tamar Production Platform. Tamar is situated 18 miles off the coast of Israel, with a 90-mile subsea tieback. First gas was in 2014 producing up to 1.25 BCF per day.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments such as: pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters; Control valves, actuators, and positioners; analyzers and basic control systems; fire and Gas Detection and Protective Systems

Support routine preventive and corrective maintenance activities and assist with basic fault finding and troubleshooting of instrumentation loops.

Help with loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning activities. Read and interpret basic P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument data sheets.

Assist with electrical isolations of motors and breakers and basic electrical troubleshooting.

Actively participate in on-the-job training and formal technical training. Demonstrate continuous improvement using technical manuals and associated documentation to gain knowledge and understanding.
