Position Purpose
The PMO Specialist supports the Project Management Office (PMO) in establishing and operating project portfolio management processes across the R&D organization and provides visibility to company Top Management. The role is responsible for portfolio reporting, project planning support, resource planning, budget monitoring, data analysis, governance, and continuous improvement of project management practices. The PMO Analyst works closely with Project Managers, Area Managers, Finance, Quality, Operations, Planning, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to improve portfolio transparency and support data -driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and monitor the R&D project portfolio. Support project planning, scheduling and Gantt development. Monitor milestones, risks, KPIs and portfolio health. Support preparation, planning, monitoring and follow-up of project and departmental budgets. Prepare executive dashboards, KPI reports and management presentations. Analyze large volumes of project, resource, schedule and financial data. Support resource capacity planning and workload analysis. Maintain PMO standards, templates and governance. Support implementation of the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system. Support Project Manager training and PMO continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related field. Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in PMO, Project Management, Project Planning or Engineering Operations. Experience in R&D, engineering, technology or manufacturing environment. Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects. Experience with budget preparation, planning, monitoring and follow-up. Experience analyzing large datasets and preparing management reports.
Technical Skills
Experience with PPM systems - Microsoft Project, Monday, Project Advantage, etc... Advanced Microsoft Excel. PowerPoint. Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik or Tableau (advantage). Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
